That's because like with Doosri Peedhi and Pranbir, divine oldie couple fans get insecure of sis show fans too, because with DP/ Pranbir they are insecure about the fact that they know their oldie couple has no real story left so that's why often the writers shift focus to DP/Pranbir who are younger and fresh in the show with more potential to forward the story, whereas sis show had beat divine oldie couple led kkb since it's inception, which is why oldie couple fans non-stop rant about sis show only gaining fame because of their precious oldie couple. 🤣

NOPE! Oldie couple fans have been J of sis show fans since sis show launched because it had beat kkb in trp and even got much higher trp's consistently and was able to sustain those high trp's far better than oldie couple led kkb, because no matter what oldie couple fans claim kkb has had its ups and downs and average ratings even earlier on in kkb and much before DP entered and increased the ratings after oldie couple and kiara track dropped show out of top 10.

I always thought the model was- channel earns from ads and pays PH for serial.

Zee might pay PH lesser than Star, so yes, this might be an indirect factor, but if EK wanted, I think nothing would stop the BT serials from going abroad. Of course, flights are now banned-so it's tougher to get a tourism board as sponsor as well, but the decision mostly lies with the PH I feel.

EK took BALH abroad when it was with Sony. Surely Zee earn more than Sony, and would therefore be able to pay more?

A huge amount of money that tv shows make is from advertising... the revenue for which goes obviously to the channel whom companies approach to televise their company's ads in between their shows. It's mostly from all this revenue that the channel makes with also required contributions from production house that the budget to make a show is gathered.

Even promotions are decided by channels more rather than the production house.
