That's what I said it's not about positive or grey or negative characters, it's about if I can connect with the characters and enjoyed watching them. I remember Viraj Dobrial who was a negative lead character still I connected to his character and liked his character not the positive lead character who entered later in the show and I feel connections between characters are more important than the chemistry between an actor and actress. In that case I remember Kunal and Nandini, no matter how much good looking they are or how much chemistry they have, I can never connected with the characters of Kunal and Nandini. That's why a show's story and characters are more important than the chemistry for me and now a days I don't feel that connections with RiAnsh like I was feeling earlier and the main reason is that revenge track sr.Originally posted by: Priya12000
I think the connectivity with the characters is important. One can even connect with the villan or a grey shaded character in a show if well written.
The makers of IMMJ made a lousy work at developing the side characters properly.. making them villan in one episode, the main leads angry with them and in the next episode, everything is forgiven..It made some of the fans lose interest and unable to forge a connection with the characters.
The main example of which is Ishani. Her loathing for riddhima could have been understandable (ofcourse not justified) but her unjustified anger towards the man who sacrificed and suffered so much for her is not only baffling but also unforgiving.
