You could be right, may be that’s why malini told about other man in her life thingy in the hospital which she was supposed to say during HM that too after knowing the truth, and if it would have going in IK path then she still would have hoped for her relation with adi till their HM revelation but we can see she is here only to find out the truth n already made other man excuse also don't want to go to HM.
