Our writers should also write all kind of romantic scenes for Shakhi as the story progresses. They will totally killed it. But they have had to be a little careful here. The guys are not dating rn and Shaurya was shown as the Professor , received brickbats for the same, so now he is the director. They could not show a prof getting attracted to his student (lusty prof would send a wrong message apparently)

If you noticed, he started admiring her appearance after the realisation of his feelings , unlike other shows where ML does admire the FL before. They are dealing with the intimacy pretty sensitively and cautiously.

So I guess once a relationship is established between the two, they will leverage the couples chemistry and popularity to make it more interesting

Exactly, they had already received backlash about student - professor relationship, they are very careful regarding physical intimacy , they can't show lustful scenes like kaira right now, maybe in future they will show but not right now
