She did not believe Shagun. She believed Astha, whom she knows and trusts since years. Trusts to the extent that she ran away from the altar to her house!

The problem they have is- She is not concerned about Shaurya's health even on grounds of humanity.

But she does not even know he is kidnapped.

She thinks, he must have gone on some other holiday, the way he came to Goa !

Couples with his previous behavior of disappearing is her own resolve to not see him bcz she knows she will break apart if she comes in front of him.

I am just finding Anokhi’s reactions inconsistent. Shaurya did not raise his voice in engagement announcement but she still went to say I love you to him. He said lots of rubbish in Library but she still forgave him and supposedly fell in love with him. And now she hears something from Shagun and she is taking a complete U turn, without any conversation with him. Also completely fine but next moment don’t show her madly in love again. To me it feels like the feelings and ehsaas of love is just being shoved in inside her by Reema. She is not ready for it and why should she be. She should concentrate on her studies. Shaurya Sabherwal can wait.

If I talk from my point of view.

I would have forgiven Shauyra for th library incident but never fallen for him !

Trust me, I will never fall for anyone who character assassinated me like that.

Whatever feelings I was developing, I would have put on a more colder face and forgotten it.

Feelings are not more important than my self respect.

Also, If man did it once, he can do it again.

Anokhi thankfully asked him to promise her not to repeat it and he thankfully hasn't.

But Anokhi, her *liking* for him made her not see those points and she went on to fall for him.

U see, she never refered back to that incident after that sorry till today or maybe till Astha told her the truth.

She thought it was a one time thing and something he said in anger and he dosen't mean it. Ab she's finding out what happened with Shagun , she can easily connect the dots and understand where the thinking stems from.

She is not right in taking decisions without proper communication . I am not supporting that.

But outrightly bashing her again again n again , when Shaurya said even more horrible things about her which were nowhere true, and she STILL fell for him.

Why did no one have a problem then!?

No... It is purely based on the fact that she is not what he wants. She wasn't even mad that he is misogynist but rather disappointed that they won't work out. She didn't judge him as a bad person.

I think she did like him a lot but not in "I am attracted to you" way. She hated him for what he said in library but she also admired his as a great and helpful teacher, recognized his intelligence and compassion in ragging incident, appreciated his righteousness in the cheating incident. He was so different and magnetic compared to any other male that Anokhi might have come across. He was her idol until he showed her his ugly side.

Also I hope now since people are disliking Anokhi's character as of now so in order to balance it all I don't want the writers to show Shaurya's character in bad light. They should not make him dumb and stupid as he is the connecting link between everybody now and only he can sort this mess. The writing should be top notch when he comes back.

And Anokhi gave up after confirming that Shaurya is what he is. She did not believe Shagun blindly. At this point, it is not about talking to Shaurya and fighting its about self-preservation!

Also she thinks Shaurya ran away again....which is what he did when he came to Goa. It seems like a logical conclusion. She ran into Kanchan too, who never mentioned anything about it.
