Anokhi needs to be independent to escape the abusive cycle of misogyny. What Vineet did will drive that need even harder. It is necessary for her sense of wellbeing and security. No amount of assurance of love and trust can beat that fear of losing control and being treated as pav ki jooti for a lifetime. Interestingly it is same on Shaurya's side. He feels inadequate and unworthy of love. He fears abandonment and never being anyone's priority without paying a huge price. No amount of assurance of love and trust can beat that fear. Only time can teach them that it is okay to trust your partner and love them with whole heart and let go of fear. I don't see them heal that easily anytime soon with their manipulative/regressive families around them.

ITV hai so dating won't work, proper marriage will change the power equation between them giving Shaurya immense power. I like the idea of secret marriage, the power equation between them will be how they define it without the interference of societal rules and norms. There is romance, there is some security but their fears will take centerstage. Sab family backs off and continues with their plotting (he is just seeing her, not marrying her yet in their view). It also works as a test period for their social marriage. It is a comparatively new concept for ITV and you get the best of both worlds. The only challenge is I don't see Anokhi agreeing to it in any shape or form.

My KP is Bhallaji and Raja, dragging Anokhi from the campus, shouting at her and threatening to marry her to some unknown chep guy and Shaurya calmly taking them into his cabin and telling them that he has more right on Anokhi than Bhallas now as he is Anokhi's husband.

I have always believed that Shaurya's insecurities and fears are just as tragic as Anokhi's trauma. None is greater than the other.

Things happening around Anokhi will only strengthen her resolve to reach her goal. And these two won't be able to over come this issue overnight... I hope we get the slow burn during this phase..

And this KP is my baby! However I imagine a sassy Shaurya Sabherwal to put them in place rather than talk calmly.

Anokhi's response in astha missing and shaurya's missing can't be compared. Astha went on missing infront of her eyes. She knew why astha was upset why she left like that. But in shaurya's case she still doesn't know he is missing. After her confrontation with shagun she thought maybe he wants to stay alone. Like he came to goa went some other place. Once let her know shaurya is missing then people should comment and compare the things.
