My point is this marriage is beyond a deal or responsibilities and Sai knows it but

@bold the only problem being if she accepts it to herself, she might develop expectations from Virat unknowingly which she is not sure whether she can or not. Yes, he has been nice to her, has supported her, but during the confrontation, when she had asked him if the commitment he spoke about before marriage was Pakhi or not, he kept quiet right? I understand he was too emotional to be able to answer her, but how will that silence be perceived as?

It is not like she never confronted him about his past. It has not been too long since the Ladakh trip and this confrontation.

What if she starts to act confident that the marriage is a real one based on Virat's actions, his support and at the end, Virat asks her did I not ask you not to expect anything from me as husband? What if Virat asks her didn't I tell that I was committed? What if he asks her that you mistook my goodness or kindness to be my love and I love only Pakhi?

Is this not possible at all? We as audience know that Virat loves her, and I am sorry to say, many couldn't understand that too for a long time, we are expecting Sai to understand based on how Virat has been doing? She is confused and it is quite natural.

Simple question, Virat is so old, is experienced, well educated, is in police department and he couldn't understand what Pakhi feels for him? Why couldn't he see what Pakhi actually wanted? I am not saying Pakhi wanted ema from the begginning, but how did he ignore all her advances or all her complaints? On the day they cancelled Ladakh trip, why did he play a victim card? Why did he stop his mom from talking to Pakhi? If he couldn't understand inspite of everything Pakhi has been doing, how can we expect that Sai should understand Virat. She hardly has any experience in the matter of relationship. Was a single child and lived only with her Dad.

Virat himself couldn't name his feelings for Sai until recently. It was comvenient for him because Sai didn't set any conditions or Sai had not told him that she has a commitment, it was him who set those conditions, it was him who said that he has a commitment, so he could move past all waada, conditions, deal and could freely feel for Sai. He had no hurdles and even then realised his feelings very late.

I am not saying that Sai shouldn't try to understand Virat's feelings, I am saying it is understandable if Sai is confused.
