Between exhaustion drag ,doormats and disconnect - Page 17

Ok it seems like the creatives have decided not to let the story progress an inch until I think the IPL season is over or until they return back to Mumbai. It is mostly because of IPL I think because shift wise, they have managed to relocate perfectly well & that should not be a hindrance to the story telling.

So what if they have to destroy the characters of Imlie & Adi for it? So what if they have to destroy the unique organic relationship that they have managed to develop for these 2? So what if everyone has to become a brainless Dementor Didi bhakt to drag the story? Ha....no TRP matters during IPL so lets ruin the carefully established story that they managed to create to basically do timepass.

I will just not watch the show anymore. Frankly the state in which the show is I am not even going to be able to watch the earlier epis because seeing that beauty is only going to depress me more. I am not going to watch the show until some substantial storyline movement apart from lame Didi bhakti happens in the show.

Wishing the creators all the best & good luck for making Dementor Didi ki mahanta Ka Mandir. Making Adi brainless bimbo ready to support Didi now because apparently trying to commit suicide for some other guy's love is bravery now. It was only stupidity when she did it for punishing him. And the most important for making Imlie the masochist who will blame everything on herself including the pandemic & allowing herself to be degraded by every damn person.

I will just drop in the forum to read if anything significant happens.

Yes I too would love to get more of Adilie but Only the makers know what they have to deal with. Plus - I was reading through some of the older posts a few months back in the forum and coincidentally came across the same thing that there were not too many scenes of Adilie- but then, Because of story progression we got some beautiful PD scenes. I mean I am thinking once Adi knows that Rupi knows and then he tells the truth- what else is left as a big reveal? It’s the angst of un- realized love that has us glued . Once it’s out - then it’s just happily ever after? 😀 Guess writers are wading through murky waters on story’s progression. I wonder if the writer who came up with those beautiful poems and dialogues is sick or something- at least some nice sad poetry during this time would be appreciated. More than a sad Adilie at this time would like some of that....

As for upcoming being all about Malini's mahaanta....I guess that is what they've zeroed in on as the only way to keep stalling the story.....Adi-Imlie ka connect dikha diya toh progress dikhaani pad jaayegi....so they also get token scenes and drama is built around Didi ghar aayegi/nahin aayegi.....aayegi toh sab log FARZ kaise nibhaayenge Didi worship mein....lol bas yehi sab hai ab.

LOL@ Adi suddenly crying about "samjhauta"....why samjhauta though? Itni admiration hai Malini ji ke liye abhi bhi, toh life shouldn't feel that hard kaatne ko....kheench lo phir se.....Imlie bhi lagi rahegi kitchen mein...tumko kya.

Kya faltu dialogues maar raha tha Adi bhi first scene mein....kabhi best friends bol raha tha, kabhi bol raha tha ek dusre ke dil ki baat nahin samajh paaye.....Malini ke saath rehkar he has also started sounding like a twisted martyr than the Adi who used to manage to blurt out sacchi baatein even when he felt cornered/unable to say the full truth.

That hare-brained idea of Malini’s ended up getting an equally hare-brained response from Aditya. They both need their heads examined. What is that concern for some random 3rd guy who no one has known about for the last 7 years? They cannot even get the affair bit right 🤷🏻‍♀️ They made Aditya seem like he just could not believe that he had not recognized and valued Malini’s greatness all these years 😳 Miss me miss me toh bhool gaya jo ek din pehle chilla rahi thi

Re samjhauta: God alone knows how he’s saying those lines he’s being given these days. What does compromise even mean to the context of what’s happening. Iss se accha was the situation before PD. Everyone was happy then anyway no 🤷🏻‍♀️

LOL I personally didn't think the issue with the Adi-Imlie scene was that she didn't answer his question about "Tumne kaise dekh liya phir".....that obviously wasn't going to get answered at this point.

But the writers never struggled this much with giving Adi-Imlie content even without revealing the secret, without moving the story......and now they seem strangely unable to do that much.

Angst is not the only draw of Adi-Imlie's story....the basis of their relationship, the sense of understanding and togetherness is a big part of what was making the story work even in a convoluted two wives situation. But now if the writers insist on glorifying Malini at the cost of others, that core will be lost.

So no, it's not about needing the truth to be out or the "love story" to happen....it's about the storytelling that the show once was so good at and seems to have totally lost now that they are shooting in Hyd. That's it.

What sticks in my mind... gosh I have to get it out of my head.. the extreme close ups of Nishu when he was spouting his lines... 😕 who was trying very hard to express himself. Disaster..

So finally the makers have decided to put him to use, give him some lines n footage too... that is all fine n good but itna close up... nahi baba.. nahi hota... in the last 2 minutes... 🤣

Yeah she's been looking bored/zoned out since yesterday only....frankly she looked mostly bored even after having juice thrown in her face😆. One does genuinely wonder about why she's being kept in that house then.....Adi toh samjhaute mein busy hai and Ts don't want her around either....bas Didi ki khushi ke liye tiki rahegi?😆

And now my face is the same as hers while watching the epis these days......have reached the point where my mind is also giving up and reaching zoned out mode....khaas focus nahin reh paa raha on the repetitive bakwaas they are all spouting.

Cs ka scene toh I literally fell asleep during I think😆....ditto for the T family conferences. Seems like this whole month will have to watched on fast forward or zone out mode.

The only progress we can get now is Imlie leaving the house.. that’s the only way we can hope to get the Adi we knew back. I know we all expect Malini to be Mahaan and stop Imlie but something tells me she will leave and I am hoping against all odds that this happens. I was just glad I didn’t have to see didi’s face for more than 5 minutes today 😂😂

Apparently Sumbul shot for a really intense scene last week and I don’t see her in the BTS with the Tripathis - so let’s hope she actually left 😆

See angst bhi aana toh chahiye na I didn't even felt a single emotion and that is worrisome to.me... rest toh sab baad ki baad hai.. woh sab toh jab Hoga tab hoga uss sabko.sochne ka bhi kya faayda jab i can't see basic connect as 2 peers forget as lovers or husband wife. I just felt like they were talking to Giant size cut outs that was how much and wider the gap is...not as characters but as actors too.. and not just with each other but between every character.it is just like this isn't thr same isea ensemble who made things work on another level. Sab might as well do.all these crazy face closeups from.theor bedrooms.. sab focus content ko fancy Tareekon se elevate karne main jaa raha hai jabke kuch bhi isse elevate nahi kar paayega

It was a better episode than the rest of the week.

Yes logic went out of the window - but some parts were ok. The way I read it was Adi was so relieved to be given an out so easily - that he was not going to look a gift horse in the mouth and if he had to praise her a bit for the sense of relief and freedom he got - why not. Also he praised her for her courage in telling the truth - esp since he did not have it ...and was struggling to get it out. I did not think he tied it to the suicide.

Also I liked that while Adi went overboard with the friend zoning - he also made4 it clear the relationship with the other guy did not matter to him one bit. That's a pretty brutal blow he gave her unwittingly.

T's - what a fickle bunch. They deserve Malini.

Adi's line on naa-insaafi was put in today - so he can make a token protest at Imlie going to C house - but Imlie will most likely shoot him down and go willingly. But if Imlie goes to C's does'nt that mean that Adu Malini breakup is imminent and we don't have to put up with Malini mentally torturing Imlie? I'd rather Anu tortures her than Malini.

Earlier Adi Malini could only speak about Imlie...noe Adi Imlie can only speak about MAlini - yuck! Why can't the writer come up with something where they can connect on - maybe Meethi knowing or college - anything?
