That said, I wouldn't say that Imlie's reason for hiding the truth is also cuz she's "happy" in this limbo per se of getting jitna bhi pyar and regard she's getting from Tripathis. That is all an illusion in its own way that is never going to be sustainable as long as she still holds on to the truth of her sindoor also. She will continue to feel that pain of being torn in seeing Adi with Malini.

But Imlie is masochistic in many ways so woh mar mar ke bhi bardaasht karne ki shakti rakhti hai.....but Adi's conviction for why he wants to tell the truth is no longer feeling that convincing cuz of the way the whole family is still busy uplifting Malini. He thinks the truth alone would set them all free....but as we are seeing currently, Malini has the capability of spinning every situation to be about her as a victim alone.....and unless anyone wants to confront her mind games on that front, telling the truth will remain just a token act......and that is probably what Imlie is dreading. That abhi toh chalo ghutan hai hi, but tab aur bhi ghutan ho jaayegi cuz everyone will blame her even more than they are currently blaming her.....while Adi bas side pe baith ke bas apne sach ke naare lagaayega ya Malini ka ghulam banke ghoomta rahega.

I will actually not be surprised at all if the Ts blame Imlie for Malini bringing this invisible professor into her life. If that ever comes out 🤷🏻‍♀️And Aditya will even then not really bother about clearing their misconception but blame it on not revealing the truth.

Rishta pinjara tab banta hai jab saathi galat ho...why is this more truer than par saathi agar sahi ho toh wohi rishta pankh banta hai...! I know I know that is how it will all end....but can't help feel for Imlie. The once, brave and free girl is stuck..

Jokes aside, I was mentioning on another thread that Aditya’s defenses of Imlie do not matter anymore. Because the fact that he is even entertaining Malini to the extent he is goes to show that he is lacking in gumption, especially after being the one who spouted “jo bhi hoga saath mein hoga”. He really does not need Imlie’s acceptance to tell Malini that he does not consider her his wife. Forget the truth, he cannot even bring himself to say that? Utho bolegi, uth jaayega. Baitho bolegi, baith jaayega. Lack of agency Malini ki nahin, Aditya ka ho gaya hai ab.

What can Imlie really do after seeing reactions of everyone around her? The carrots they dangle our way in terms of Aditya and Imlie and their supposed progression ends up being moot because everything comes back to Malini and her sach ki nautanki.

This is why the Delhi track annoys me at times. They just keep Imlie in a limbo and center everything around Malini.

LOL true....but even when the PD track was going on, they still centered around 60% of almost every epi on Malini's breakdowns with burning pictures, stuck wedding tapes and her constant wailing about Adi. So there wasn't really any escaping her fully even in the PD tracks.

Only difference was that we were atleast getting 2-3 minutes of substance waale Adi-Imlie scenes even if rest of the epi was dedicated to propping up Didi ki bechaargi. Back then we thought thoda bahut shaayad she had cause also since she was rolling around in confusion.

But that card has already been maximized and shredded now as far as I'm concerned and I have even less patience for this faltugiri.

The writers need damage control big time on the Adi-Imlie continuity front if they want to remind the audience which relationship was supposedly blessed by Kismat and Sita Maiyya....cuz aajkal toh bas shaitaano ka bol baala lagta hai.

THIS.....this is a big problem in the track right now. Adi is fixated on blaming every problem only on hiding the truth....when the real issues are much bigger than that cuz they are all delusional about the way Malini is playing them. Revealing the truth won't stop those nautankis either.....so then he will be destined to keep coddling her aage bhi at this rate....how exactly does he then expect to get Imlie her due as he claims?

There is only so long he can blame Imlie also ki tum decide nahin kar rahi, tum chaho toh......none of that really factors into how HE is choosing to continue this namesake situation with Malini.....he hasn't revealed any clear path to ending his relationship with Malini....bas generically hi bolta hai. And now in the wake of this suicide stunt, Imlie will be blamed even more directly for his breakup with Malini but he's still doing nothing other than token pushbacks to protect Imlie from that hate and blame.

Uss waqt traction bhi toh tha on their relationship. Kuch toh move hua even if Malini went about setting fire to stuff or damaging televisions.

I am beyond done with Malini and her constant sense of persecution. Lekin she’s like this wound that festers forever. Ignore karna chahe bhi toh episode mein aake kachra karke jaayegi.

I’m hoping once she comes home atleast they will be able to refocus but it also depends on whether they want to. If they are able to hold steady with whatever nonsense they’re throwing our way, will they bother?

More than their continuity, I want an Aditya who does not falter, not even for token gestures, but I guess that’s hoping for too much.

They have conveniently kept Aditya out each time someone blamed Imlie directly. And they are not even making Malini say it directly to him. How long do they think this is going to be acceptable? Rupali as a stand in is not of any use considering she is not going to come and tell the truth either. When she herself does not know what Aditya wants to do, why will she say anything about it? She can only try and protect Imlie.

The truth that Aditya thinks is going to resolve everything - has he ever outlined even once about what will happen after as in what he intends to do? Imlie asked him right. Tab toh kuch kaha nahin but he wants to wait for her acceptance? Comfortably not acknowledging his role in what needs to happen in the future. Until he is stuck to wanting to resolve what happened in the past he will not be able to see what is happening in front of him right now.

Sadly, the point is valid. Adi still hasn’t managed to demonstrate to her how this Rishta is not a pinjara. For all practical purposes, she is trapped in it many ways rather than being uplifted by it. And again, let’s not bring her faith regarding sindoor/husband into this. That’s a separate issue. But you have to wonder about the girl who who was thrown into all this without ever asking for any of it,....now still being berated to prop up the Princess who has no gratefulness for anything in life 🤷‍♀️ Yet no one points this out in the story. How bloody ungrateful Malini is. Then one is forced to wonder if Imlie’s perspective even matters to the writers as they write endless pages of Malini ke self pity rants. Mehh.

Mehh is the expression today or rather for this entire week. Malini has to be the worst written character. I have not seen much of ITV but of whatever I have, by far she is the most pathetic one. In the precap Adi is asking her tumne to dekha liya...can Imlie please remind him his Moon jap that he so much did back then. I do not want the makers to take this opportunity away from them to converse, for the love of sita maiyya TALK!

Oh forgot to mention, sindoor/husband wali toh baat yahan pe hai hi nahi...she was ready to carry on without those physically being there with her...
