He is the only one other than Rupi Di who actually has the brains to see the manipulations but Aditya does not want to take out his glasses at all.... Instead of ensuring to keep making sure that Malini keeps realizing that things are really not how she wants them to be, that Aditya has changed and even the extreme step cannot affect his stance, he has gone back and given her ammunition to think that suicide was the only way to make things right. 🤢

@bold: Exactly. Issue isn't about whether him giving flowers to Malini means anything from his side or whether him giving a picture frame to Imlie was more meaningful....LOL.....the point is regarding the perception of it. Giving red roses woh bhi....not just any regular flower bouquet for a sick patient....in the wake of a situation where she pointedly made him feel like she suspected him and Imlie, then committed suicide on that suspicion, on waking up, didn't bother saying anything to the effect of - it's not your fault Aditya, for that woman, bringing red roses can only mean you want to apologize and make amends for the relationship and you accept all blame she's laying at your feet.....there is no other way to view it.

And therein lies the rub.....that on one hand he keeps claiming he can't give her what she wants anymore but then doing token gestures like this he's still sustaining the relationship.....either he's really that obtuse or it's a random blooper.....but either ways, it made his character lose conviction in that moment as Myrah also pointed out.

Adi's convictions are all he has left in this quagmire of lies he's swimming in currently....his conviction that Imlie is his truth and he must follow that truth now instead of living in the mirage he has lived in for many years. Yet, one could be forgiven for questioning his conviction on that front given how he decided to play doting husband (in terms of appearance) to Malini. There are a 100 different ways to visit a sick patient.....I'm not sure which one needs red roses to show your generic good wishes.....if indeed that is what Adi's stance is on Malini now as he claims.

As for Rupi di knowing the truth.....again I'm wondering if any of that matters since they are only using her for token scenes as one voice generally standing up for Imlie....that's it.

It doesn't change the bottom line that everyone is still more inclined towards coddling Malini and giving her the "mature grown up" treatment even when she did such an insanely childish thing and is still acting entitled over it.....not even a hint of shame on her face and she's still throwing around accusing looks....amazing.

Rupi di will also be pointless in the long run unless she has the guts to call out Malini ki bakwaas while simultaneously supporting Imlie.....otherwise this is just an exercise in tokenism. Matlab Malini is still her bhabhi in her eyes na....lol toh phir Imlie ko kyun support kar rahi hain? 😆.....that way how different is she from Adi? Clear cut nahin bol paa raha ki I don't consider Malini my wife anymore......bas sach pe sui atki hai....as if that will automatically rescind Malini's biwi tag.

I get the complications of the situation but at some point these people have to pick a side....they cannot simultaneously consider Malini and Imlie as "bhabhi".....cuz Malini is a psycho who won't get it until you WRESTLE the title away from her and Imlie lacks the guts to take her rightful title.

It feels like the writers, if they have any, get some sadistic satisfaction on showing that suicide is actually ok and if you do not die from it people should put you on a higher pedestal than previously. I mean this was the lady browsing her phone when her mother walked in and reading a magazine when Aditya walked in. Spa mein jaise check-in kar liya ho.

In trying to prop up Malini, these guys make Aditya oscillate so much that it grates. Like the Aditya from the previous episode just did not happen at all.

Unpopular cuz usually Imlie alone is blamed as the reason for stopping Adi from revealing the truth😆 and supposedly being happy as a naukraani to Didi.....lol....but Adi proved in this epi that he would also be pretty amenable to doing Malini seva all his life.

The thing that will never stop being galling is what a PATHETIC person is being propped up so much by all the characters in this story.....lol the writers really have lost the plot if they want us to buy this level of propping up of Malini especially in the wake of the tamashas she's done last 2-3 weeks.

Where is the Adi who called her soch ghatiya, who called her dusri Mrs. C? So that means as long as Malini can play the suicide card, uske saare paap maaf? Even in the eyes of the Adi who claims to be wanting to support Imlie humesha? Where is the Adi who gave such a fierce speech to Malini when she said Imlie bas second aayi hai?

All Malini needs to do is token nautanki apologies and play the wilting flower, and they all promptly forget? Kal bhi her usual token bechaari reaction on seeing her Mom throwing juice on Imlie's face.....all of this is what we are supposed to buy as Malini's "love" for Imlie? And humaari chhodo....ADI considers this as valid "love" and "haq" that Malini has on Imlie? Then sorry to say, there isn't much that can come out of his character either. Imlie deserves better than token/dithering support.

On what basis is everyone acting like Malini's such a Queen they all need to pamper? They are all behaving like she's some Saint that they've ALL wronged into pushing her into this.....Heights of nonsense. That too when we as the audience are being shown more scenes of her pulling CUNNING shit and mind games. Come on, man.

She knows she will be blamed and she does not want to lose the love and family that she had always wished for...Hence her shock when Rupi Di actually gave her support instead of blaming her.

Even in this case, they will question Aditya but it would be easy to blame Imlie because Aditya unka khoon hain and his harkat would be a question to their parvarish. The presuure will also be on her to back up and she will be more on the chauraha because on one side there would be family and other side would be Aditya...Plus seeing how she is getting blamed for Malini's suicide, why would she even want to disturb the life that took her so long to make peace with.... She has the sindoor and the college and the family plus there is other phelu of taking somone's happiness for her own.... telling the truth is only going to destroy all these things that she has got which she had only dreamed about...... frankly I do not blame her at all.

Jokes aside, I was mentioning on another thread that Aditya’s defenses of Imlie do not matter anymore. Because the fact that he is even entertaining Malini to the extent he is goes to show that he is lacking in gumption, especially after being the one who spouted “jo bhi hoga saath mein hoga”. He really does not need Imlie’s acceptance to tell Malini that he does not consider her his wife. Forget the truth, he cannot even bring himself to say that? Utho bolegi, uth jaayega. Baitho bolegi, baith jaayega. Lack of agency Malini ki nahin, Aditya ka ho gaya hai ab.

What can Imlie really do after seeing reactions of everyone around her? The carrots they dangle our way in terms of Aditya and Imlie and their supposed progression ends up being moot because everything comes back to Malini and her sach ki nautanki.

This is why the Delhi track annoys me at times. They just keep Imlie in a limbo and center everything around Malini.

Agreed that Imlie has more samajh of duniya-daari than Adi in some ways cuz Adi has never really bothered with social niceties and lihaaz that much.

That said, I wouldn't say that Imlie's reason for hiding the truth is also cuz she's "happy" in this limbo per se of getting jitna bhi pyar and regard she's getting from Tripathis. That is all an illusion in its own way that is never going to be sustainable as long as she still holds on to the truth of her sindoor also. She will continue to feel that pain of being torn in seeing Adi with Malini.

But Imlie is masochistic in many ways so woh mar mar ke bhi bardaasht karne ki shakti rakhti hai.....but Adi's conviction for why he wants to tell the truth is no longer feeling that convincing cuz of the way the whole family is still busy uplifting Malini. He thinks the truth alone would set them all free....but as we are seeing currently, Malini has the capability of spinning every situation to be about her as a victim alone.....and unless anyone wants to confront her mind games on that front, telling the truth will remain just a token act......and that is probably what Imlie is dreading. That abhi toh chalo ghutan hai hi, but tab aur bhi ghutan ho jaayegi cuz everyone will blame her even more than they are currently blaming her.....while Adi bas side pe baith ke bas apne sach ke naare lagaayega ya Malini ka ghulam banke ghoomta rahega.

My 2 cents here...

I know a lot has been said and written in the previous pages.. and the episode/track has exhausted me.

That said... what galls me is the fact that NONE from the Tripathis even tried to talk to Adi, to understand his POV or his emotions over what transpired leading to the hospital and later. We have not had a single scene where we have seen the family discussing over what transpired or even expressing concern over their son's state of mind, what emotional turmoil he must be undergoing.

Instead they have been shown as the Jury, Judge and Executioner, who have sentenced their son Aditya to live his life groveling at the feet of the royal princess, dancing to her tunes. Nothing more to add here and a lot has been said by the folks here.

As for Adi, who is an investigative journalist, how are you so blind to what is right in front of your eyes? You are able to separate fact from fiction, truth from lies as that is your profession and core, yet you are still unable to spot the fact that Malini is lying through her teeth, gauging your reaction before trotting out her Lie. 😡

If Imlie is going to be taken for a ride by everyone around her, be it the T's & C's or the kids at college... then 🤢this is NOT what I signed up for. I want her spirit n kadakness back in the game, not this shadow of her former self, who looks defeated and dejected. Has not savored the moment of her winning the 2nd place and being honored by the minister, which is a Huge Deal for a girl from a village. Can the makers show this instead of the spotlight on Dd n her fully made up face in the hospital?? Heck I will even take Pari n NN over what we have been dished out.
