Our tv industry is probably the most ruthless one. Actors fall sick due to extra workload pressure, they had to beg for their own salary, scripts are changed multiple times, characterizations and stories are butchered for the sake of trps etc etc. Its 2021 still tv industry had not decided to stop this daily soap thing. Finite and limited series shows should have started already from the first half of 2018. How bloody torturous tv is not only for audience but for actors and crew members too. Come on its time to wrap up the old shit and come up with planned solutions. Ages old formulas need to stop. Give tv that chance to become another option for content viewing. Dont bring back the old tv but bring a new tv with all fresh topics and limited episodes. Make it seasonal for popular ones. Today audience will protest, tomorrow they will adjust and they after tomorrow they will live with it. Audience and actors both need a break. PERIOD.

I wish Pak Dramas jaisa ek 100 epispde ka show preshoot karke hi air kare. We dont want those TRP tracks spiked suddenly in between.

Its hight time Channel Heads come on some new method.

Keep Weekly shows of hour and make them interesting with varied plots.

Exactly. I feel so bad for all these TV actors. So much of workload and those multiple shots style shooting. Close up shot long shot. They shoot same scene with different angles. 12 14 hours damn shooting straight away. So tiresome.

There are many solutions to this problem but what is wrong with channel heads is that they are not looking at the solution but at the profit. I wish we had 'Yakeen Ka Safar' type miraculous show that changed the Pakistani tv industry and after that they started bringing only finite series.

I feel Star Plus being the leader from past years have spoiled the audeince with TRP Cliched stuff

Even if Zee Colors Sony gor for overhaul and plan something new, SP being SP will stick to the routine TRP jerkers only.

SP will have those Monday to Sunday shows puta time serials. I mean Weekends toh khaali rakho.

You're right its Starplus who started this bullshit of Mon to Sat and Daily shows. As a market leader i think SP should plan a strategy that could change the television. Also, Zee, Colors & Sony need to follow SP's strategy changing strategy. Starplus should start bringing bi weekly shows not at weekends but on weekdays like Mon-Tues / Wed-Thurs (9 pm). They need to stop this bringing back these typical dramas again and again that are just unentertaining and cliché. SP will have to STOP daily soap one day.

IMHO i hated that Uday Shankar guy of SP. Full of arrogance ego and had that constipated look.
