Every single person in Malini’s life has only enabled her mental issues. Her parents, her in laws, Aditya and even Imlie. No one has showed her some hard love. And Aditya thinks her sweet nature is her reality and has completely ignored her insecurity and clingy behavior. To all of them she is perfect from inside as she dresses well from outside.
Though I have no hopes from ITV, I wish for once if the writers want to show suicide track, then they also show some reality that the person committing suicide because she thinks her marriage is breaking apart has some serious mental issues and not to put the whole blame on Aditya. He gave 7 years of his life in this relationship. He is allowed to separate from his wife if he is not happy. And divorce is the answer to marriage breaking, not freaking suicide.
It really is expecting too much from itv, but oh for heaven’s sake please please don’t let it be all ‘aditya ki wajah se’ please at least show a hint of how other issues factor in here too. There is no way any person who was not already seriously disturbed would go this route. If they’ve decided to touch this topic, at least don’t use it as some plot device to get her back at home or something. Man, what a horrible turn they took here.
