I think that is a trigger for Shaurya because he knows only when she is completely mad, she does not let him invade her personal space..

They have got a pattern- He plans to propose.. Something happens.. He asks her to believe him.. She doesn't let him touch her.. He goes and breaks something..

I think shaurya was right in his place. Any son or daughter will not open their mouth to embarrass their parent infront of public. Anokhi would have done the same thing if her father announces her engagement like this. Anokhi was right in questioning but also shaurya was right at his place.
