I know all religions are patriarchal. Not just any one religions. The degree of patriarchal norms may vary but ultimately all religions are for men only. Can you tell me anyone religion having a woman as it's head?
Exactly I would've have never supported Anirudh if he was shown as a typical husband in a patriarchal society who considers women as objects. I support him for the reason that he is different and their marriage is different
No one here, including me, is not supporting child marriage in general. We are talking about two particular individuals and their lives. We cannot even call their relation marriage. Anirudh is more like her guardian than typical husband. And unfortunately her mother and her parents' family are portrayed as being incapable of ensuring Bondita's betterment. As the fans of a character whom we love, viewers just want to see her happy and well. That is why majority wants her to be with Anirudh. When we say with Anirudh,it doesn't mean as a wife in conversational sense.
I assume you follow the show and know the story line. Just answer one question honestly. According to the circumstances shown in the show, with whom will Bondita have a better and safer life and future? With Anirudh or with her mother Sumati?
No, My point was that I don't support wrong doings be it domestic violence, child marriage or polygamy in name of year and society, so when there is a track which is going towards ending a Kupratha, it should be a happy track, do you understand my point? We are not making show for people in 1920, we are in 2021
Anirudh filed petition, how can he say child marriage is wrong when he doesn't want to end his own? Or they play sad BGM when the reformer is talking about good future of young girls (Watch tonight's episode, you'll know what I am talking about), it just seemed oddly placed
Anirudh goes to stop a child marriage, what right does he have when he is practicing it himself?
Imagine, me coming to you and telling you how wrong it is not to wear a mask in public when I am not wearing it myself
I follow the show and in this show, when Anirudh filed the petition, he said now Bondita will have her own identity, what happened to that?
He filed a petition because Kaka said that there's no law to end his relationship with Bondita so I am assuming he fought the case keeping the reason for filing the petition in his mind

Doubtless, Bondita will have bright future with Anirudh, would we discuss if there was no track to annul the marriage? I mean if they have introduced a track which is ending Child marriage, how can say I am in favor of Child marriage and against the act? Do you see my point?
The track wasn't there so this question wasn't there as there was no law, now they are saying that there is a law to stop it, so why would I be against a law which is stopping child marriage?
RCs are jamindars, they are powerful, It must have been difficult for Anirudh to send a woman to school, society must have been against it too but do we stop because of society? No, why is society an excuse now?
Bondita can live with RCs with her mother, her mother is her legal guardian, RCs are powerful, Bondita and Anirudh's relationship remains the same, minus the Kupratha of Child marriage

I never said it
