I can't take a character like Babli who was ready to give her "stree dhan" , literally the only money that she can all her own to Anokhi , can be jealous of her happiness.! No yaar.

Tbh, Is it possible to be jealous if your sibling gets what u didn't get. I feel if there's genuine love, u will always be happy for them. And Babli somewhere has genuine love for Nikki

The problem is in babli's soch she has lived through that oppression which has turned her into a product of patriarchy she thinks she is inferior to men. So to her what papa ji was doing was nikki's bhalai. So his intentions were good in getting nikki married to a guy but everything was spoiled because that guy was cheat pervert etc etc but her papa ji's intentions were clean.

Thats why she never ever had guts to question Mr. Bhalla or leave her husband for heavens sake. She is living in that marriage where she also loves somebody else. Its not that she is in love with her husband she is clearly not but she isnt leaving.

And plus in the last vineet and babli scene when babli came back from SIAC and vineet was threatening her that he ll call her papa ji. She was scared because everybody knows that her papa ji isn't going to keep her with him he ll shove off all his responsibilities.

I agree that Babli has accepted the patriarchy as fact in her life. I don't like that her mentality and her suffering is pushed on her sister. Already Anokhi feels the responsibility of doing well so that she can get her sister and mom away from their abusers. Anokhi is the strong one. She wouldn't accept an abuser so I don't know if Babli thinks Anokhi has Stockholm syndrome or something.

Babli just makes me frustrated now.
