Yess plus and babli still believes that papa ji loves them in a way and wants their bhalai so i dont find her thinking about papa ji's wrath illogical.

A person is patriarchal MCP doesn't mean he is greedy as well and mr bhalla isn't a greedy man he is just a product of misogynistic and patriarchal society. Who is controlling and a toxic father.

To me everything was good just ahir's entry to the scene was illogical.

I agree. Mr. Bhalla is egoistic, misogynist and toxic but he is a man of dignity (or has a false sense of dignity) will not like that Anokhi chose her own life partner. Such parents usually like to control their child's life. Much like Devi Sabherwal.

The only difference is Devi is "meethi churi" with her sweet words while Mr. Bhalla is "churi" with his physical abuse.

On which babli replied meri to shaadi ho chuki hai tab bhi daant pad jaati hai nikki to unmarried hai and uski to papa ji ke saath humesha kuch na kuch ladai chalti hi rehti hai .
