It was a fabulous episode!! I really enjoyed every second of it, especially because we got to see Raghav throughout the entire scene. Sai was phenomenal in every frame, from his hallucination to the knife throwing, to his delicate conversation with Krishna, his calming down to get the info out of his Amma, and his predatory mode when setting up the trap and baiting her slowly until she had nowhere to run without even being aware she was in his lair. Screenplay was bang on. I think back to the BTS photo we saw from the restaurant scene, where we felt his barely-visible eyes told of him planning some khurafaat was spot on. His body language as he sat on the couch and used his silver tongue to confuse and disarm her was just such a treat to watch. No temper, no haste, no foul language, even though he got a bit concerned that she may not sign. The look on his face when she started to sign... changed from a smile to that dangerous intent... it was a millisecond change but he did such a fantastic job. He acted with his eyes in this entire episode and I'm just super impressed with how much he has grown as an actor of late.
Shivangi also did a great job of again showing a woman who was learning to be cautious but still naive and sentimental about her family. She really can do more if her part is better written. Pallavi will probably get thrown out because of the fake accounts and Raghav's but the stupid Deshmukhs will probably believe she lied about other things too. Poor Krishna... it was hilarious how she wanted to avoid talking to Raghav at all costs, and he knew exactly the effect he had on her. The way he turned on the charm and got information was just wow. I love this smart businessman Raghav. Him sliding the accounts book under his shirt made him look almost pregnant. Anyone could tell there was something there, but Krishna was probably too afraid of him to notice. She is as naive as Pallavi and spilled the beans on the fraud, LOL. And who leaves ledgers on the desk just like that, not even locked up!
I can't tell for sure if he actually did transfer the shop over to her or if those papers were fake and he took over the entire DSE. She started off their meeting saying one should put aside one's emotions when dealing with Raghav, and she was doing well but at the last minute he managed to make her drop her guard by being gentle and to-the-point. She should have seen the warning signs, his extra praise, the way he said he enjoyed this game, etc. the look on his face the entire time, the nervous tapping of his fingers when he had a moment of doubt about whether she'd sign or not, but then she let her emotions take control and made that fatal mistake. Also, she didn't even bother to read the second copy that he pulled out of his pocket. God knows what additional clauses he added in there, he must have kept that as evidence to show everyone in the function in case Pallavi denies it. Her hasty signature will incriminate her. The restaurant was empty so their conversation was a private one. No one to prove what had actually happened between them. Well-played.
I think the way he humiliated Pallavi was what Farhad was referring to... Let's see... I am glad it was in the family function and not on social media, but I am not sure if he will stop there or if there's further damage he wants to cause her. He deserved the slap this time from Rambo, I will say that much. I hate what he did, and I was hoping it would be based on stronger evidence but he too seems to have let his emotions take over. You're right we saw his inner turmoil play out during the entire time. Even when we saw him talking to Krishna, he was alternating between trying to understand and being manipulative to find juicy tidbits to pounce on. His business acumen was again on display, otherwise he had been stuck with family drama for too long. He is about to play his masterstroke and while I think he is going to win this round, I have a feeling that actually Pallavi is the one who will marry him for revenge when she makes up her mind not to stay quiet any longer. I think the proposal may indeed come from her as she will piggy back on his claims about their affair and trap him into a marriage in hell.
Finally a new precap, and I guess we are going to see that in a few days. I loved the way Raghav was taunting her with the 'shona, baby, jaanu' dialogue. Beta, ab dekhna ek din aisa ayega ke tum woh sab sunne ko tarsoge par aisa hoga nahin. Once he is done insulting her and having her thrown out, I hope Farhad is the one to tell Keerti about it and that she in turn tells Amma. I just don't see Pallavi being the one to go and complain to her. Not that he would have done this in front of his mother and sister anyway. Amma for her part didn't even think to consider Pallavi and she said anyone could have done it. All this happened to her daughter but she didn't blame Pallavi or any of the Deshmukhs for that matter. I don't think they will be at this new function so they won't witness Raghav's antics firsthand.
I hope they don't get married just yet and I also hope that they don't see each other for a bit. They both need space and to just calm down after everything that happened. I want Pallavi to go straight to Kolhapur after this. There has been no public humiliation yet so let's see if there's an urgency to get married. Besides, if they kick her out of the house and effectively disown her, why would she need to get married for their izzat. She can go live her own life. Never mind, it's pointless guessing but I'm hoping against hope they will delay the marriage for a bit.
To those wishing for Raghvi scenes, well be happy we got a long one today and will get more in coming days. Raghav is on ruthless mode, but I hope he is tormented while doing it and afterwards too. If the hallucination and precap is any indication, he knows he went with his feelings and rage and there is margin for error in what he did and how he did it. There is a part of him that knows she is dignified and respectful and incapable of stooping so low. That part will be a loud voice in his head at all times, compounded by Farhad telling him off. We knew this was coming, but I still feel hurt on Pallavi's behalf, because all said and done she's a good person. I am concerned this may damage her to start becoming more aggressive and ruthless herself, if the marriage promo is any indication. Not that I mind but then that would make this relationship a total mess.
