If they want to cover 60 matches, they need two whole months. Which will become too long. To reduce the days and two provide entertainment to people on weekends, in previous tournaments, they used to play two matches each on both Saturday and Sunday.

Now they are playing two matches on most of the Sundays and two matches on one more day in between. You can check the schedule here.
