Social media is a cesspool that allows negativity to amplify in the guise of anonymity. That is the core problem. It connects the world like nothing else but is also destroying the fabric of humanity little by little.

All these people who are willing to spew venom so easily online will cower in fear if they had to do it face to face.

+1 to what you said about Mayuri and how we feel about her versus the character. She does have a pretty good following too which makes it tougher for the others in being able to manage the hive-like attacks.

That’s why I think the TRPs are so much more indicative/ validation of the fact ki logon ne actual story ke nas ko pakad liya hai. Unn logon ko pata hai ki Mayuri aur Malini separate hai. That they are actually seeing the same Malini that we are seeing. If not, ab tak toh there should have been a downward fluctuation

Today felt underwhelming after the last two epis...great analysis by everyone on those topics. :)

Firstly, on the Adi-Imlie bits. I found the kadhaa scene sweet actually! :) Exasperated Adi was telling her to leave with his back turned while tears rolled down his face...And I loved the haq with which Imlie was asking him to have the kadhaa and dawaai...bilkul patni wali feel thi usski tone mein. 😊 Even though Adi grumbled ki Imlie ko koi farak nahi padta woh jeeye ya mare, he knows that Imlie ko farak padta hai. He said this because he wanted to hear the words from her. Not that ussko farak padta hai (he knows that), but ki ussko bhi UTNA hi dard hota hai Adi se door rehke...He so badly wants reassurance from her. And Imlie KNOWS this haha, that was literally her next line! Damn, I love their unspoken communication so much. Dusre ki dil ki baat easily samajh jaate hai without the need for any words. :) Imlie's honest admission that she tries to stay away from him because she feels ashamed about not liking seeing Adi-Malini together was an attempt at reassuring him. She's telling him that she also feels unbearable pain staying away from him and assuring him that it's not because she does not trust him re. Malini. It's because she doesn't want trust herself to keep her vachan if she doesn't stay away from him. During that part, he briefly turned his face at her and the next bit was nicely analysed by you already. :) Again the convo ended on a truce. They also both don't wanna hurt Malini, but have a different approach to solving this issue and now this has become a battle of wills. Let's see who prevails. But LMAO @ Adi's I'm leaving for Mumbai....haha dono biwiyon ki emotional atyachaar se pareshaan ho ke kat lene ki tayyariya kar rahe hai Babusahib.😆 Btw as an aside, I also think Adi ko Imlie ko ek phone dena hi chahiye. Public phone se toh call karsakti hai, but in cities like Delhi I think you should keep a phone on you for safety purposes.

On the Imlie-Ts' scene! Imlie's mirror scene was all kinds of cute! Wanted to pull her cheeks there!❤️ I adored the Ts' trying to give her a little confidence boost, Nishant's advice to her about not copying others and being herself was lovely. :) Badke Kaka again is the sweetest, loved his little practical.😆 Grouchy Adi in the living room asking Imlie to touch her Sasumaa's feet was a nice touch. :)

On Prakash outing the truth. Felt an urge to console and hug Meethi there. Poor woman. :( Whole life she lived life atoning for her mistake on the hope that her daughter's life won't turn out to be the same and now her daughter is entrapped in such dire circumstances. That bit of her tossing around pooja ka saaman nicely displayed the sense of helplessness she felt as a mother by the actress playing Meethi. Well done.

Finally a few words on Didi.😛 Waise, sorry if anyone felt triggered by that gif I posted earlier. I will remove it if needed.😊 I don't think she's a dayaan (someone wanted a gif and no one was posting, so I posted it LOL)....she's just an interesting case study in psychology. I said this in an earlier thread also, that I never felt she was whitewashed or shown maahan. It's interesting now if you look back at her past behaviour, it makes sense why this is the case. I'll try to put aside my dislike for her and analyse her objectively.😆 Firstly, her monologues today showed that the purpose of her relationship with Adi was to enjoy a functional relationship in her life, one underpinned by mutual respect and honesty. She never wanted a marriage like her parents. And I have to commend her on at least choosing a man with a spine, unlike her father, haha. What let her down was her wrong outlook on what creates and drives a healthy relationship. She noticed in her parents never agreeing on anything and always fighting and rai bana li that partners agreeing and never fighting means 100% healthy relationship. The idea that relationships are maintained by asserting claim & dominance also became ingrained in her vis a vis her mom. These atrocious ideas underpinned her relationship with Adi from the start, that's why it never stood a chance. She also cultivated a very convincing sweet & understanding girlfriend facade, which was her way of suppressing her inner Mrs C and proving to herself that she's nothing like her mother. But sadly, our upbringing and genetics always has an impact on us, even if we push this impact back to the deep recesses of our psyche. That's where Malini's inner Mrs. C was hiding all along. It is now coming out in her desperation because she's tried everything and knows her sweet facade will no longer work on Adi. So her saccharine sweet behaviour was always a facade, it was her way of compensating for her unconscious reality that her soch is indeed like her mom, like the high society Delhi ladies. I guess she suppressed this side of her before because Adi gave her what she wanted then anyway and now that he is not giving her what she wants, she feels it is justified to unleash her inner Mrs C.

I really liked the episode today. I would like to commend the makers that they are managing to stick to the story track that they envisioned instead of doing filler tracks due to Covid restrictions. Kudos to them👏.

So many story points moved forward in today's epi. Though Adi-Imlie's conflict remained the same, they are at least communicating with each other. Both of them tell their inner thoughts to each other so freely. It's a marvel to see such honesty in a relationship. Frankly it is the USP of this couple & I hope this lasts till the end.

I loved the kadha scene so much. Adi is such a grouch in general & being sick was making him extra grumpy. Kitne nakhre dikha raha tha Imlie ke saamne regarding not wanting to drink kadha & medicine. Him telling her that he is not able to cope in the current situation & wanting to go away to Mumbai was making me laugh😆. Behki behki baatein kar raha tha bukhar main🤣.

Imlie ne bhi bol diya BS ko ki use apne aap pe sharam aane lagi hai kyunki ye jante hue bhi ki morally Adi staying with Malini is the right thing she is not able to be happy seeing that. She is getting hurt par Malini Didi ko hurt nahi karna hai. To which Adi replied maybe it is not feeling right to her because it is not the right path. They need to tell the truth to Malini.

Then Adi said that Imlie ko kya farak padta hai ki woh jeeye ya mare uspe Imlie bhadak gayi. Sidha SM ki kasam kha li to prove that she cares. She told him she trusts him. Kaise jhaljhalahat main boli that she came 6 times to meet him & went away but aakhir main raha nahin gaya aur use aana hi pada. She told him not to hurt her by refusing to take care of himself & mere liye kadha pee lo please bhi bol diya. Aww🤗. Fir Adi kaise kadha na peeta. But kadha peete hue bhi nakhre ki kadva hai kaise peeye toh uspe Imlie ka aap ka behaviour bhi kadva hai but baaki sab seh lete hai toh aap bhi seh lo kadvapan was too cute😆. Then Adi's "Itne bure hai kya hum?" then admitting that kadha is not as bura as him was😆. He drank the kadha & also took medicine. Medicine pe bhi check kiya ki sahi medicine hai kya was😆. Matlab bande Ka basic grumpiness nahi chootega chahe bimar hi kyu na ho🤣.

Adi-Imlie watch scene was also so organic. Bilkul random ya OTT nahi tha. Sab in the flow moment ho gaya. Adi telling her to mind the time now that she is starting college, realising she doesn't have a watch, so quickly giving her his watch for now so that aaj ka din nikal jaye & telling her that he will get a new watch for her was . Imlie quickly accepting his watch & wearing it & then telling him not to get her a new watch because wearing his watch makes her feel that she is sharing his time with her was also. So heartfelt was her little confession. How can Adi resist falling more for her in each moment☺️.

I like that Imlie always accepts any gift or thing that he gives to her without feeling guilty about it. Because mostly whatever Adi gifts her is all small things nothing OTT so she never feels that him giving her anything is wrong. I like this simplicity in their relationship & it shows how similar they are in the way that they do not need grand gestures but are happy with small but meaningful gestures.

Adi watching Imlie look around the college & being happy to see her excitement and happiness was such a good touch. She was happy on her own & her happiness was giving him the same happiness.

I like this simplicity in their relationship & it shows how similar they are in the way that they do not need grand gestures but are happy with small but meaningful gestures. Same I would like to add that i like that adi doesn't give these things as Gifts per say ek dum zaroorat hai le lo rakh lo.. as i keep saying no mera tumhara.. it just Shows a whole different level of apnaiyat.. These are the things we do for the ones we love so deeply and are so close jahan aapko farak nahi padta aapki cheez kisne use ki.. it is the purity of thought the intention that matters.. The way it just speaks of how You are one in many ways.. hence she accpets them caz they come with a lot of pyaar and apnaiyat and care and fikar.. Not as ehsaans or putting her down... she Takes them caz she can see the Intent too behind these things otherwise we have seen imlie isn't the one who would take anything from anyone either.. it is Her Babusahib afterall.. and as she simply said bas apki hai and yehi matters nothing else... Anything related to him is the most precious to her just as it is to him.. i maybe a bit off but i felt that watch is kind of liek woh old sindoor ka stain for adi.. Itu chotu sa but that was a reminder of their time together too and this as him being with her during her such an important day kind of holding her hand guiding her If I really have to make it sound it extravaggant but baat ki feeling samjho 😆

Adi watching Imlie look around the college & being happy to see her excitement and happiness was such a good touch. She was happy on her own & her happiness was giving him the same happiness. Right! he was so proud of her in those moments so happy that she is able to fulfill the sapne she saw for herself and that it is the begining and mehnat rang laa rahi hai imlie ki.. He was smiling so much too Caz he has taken that as his sapna too somewhere🤗

Imlie trying to boost her own confidence & practising how she will behave with everyone in college was too cute. I think each one of us can relate to it because it is the same thing that everyone does when they are about to start their college life. ST was a cutipie in that scene😳.

The entire T family being excited for Imlie's first day of college & giving her tips & boosting her confidence was too good. Such scenes makes one realise how much a part of the family Imlie is. I agree that Nishant-Imlie scenes have improved now & their relationship is also feeling more natural. BK & Aparna are the ⭐️Imlie supporters as usual. Adi asking Imlie to take Aparna's aashirwad was also a quick nuanced part of the scene. It shows how Adi views Imlie's bond with his own mom & how he is happy that the most important ladies in his life have a beautiful bond of their own irrespective of him😳.

Prakash the loser is such a waste of a friend🤢. He couldn't even manage to keep Imlie's secret from her Amma. Meethi's pain & hurt after getting to know Imlie's truth was so heart wrenching. The only thing that she has prayed to SM is that her daughter never has to face a life like her & she is feeling betrayed by her SM at her perceived injustice to Imlie. Your heart really goes out to her. I wanted to give her a tight 🤗.

Now that Meethi has come to know the truth it will be interesting to see how the makers take this forward. Will they reveal the truth to SK as well? Or will Meethi talk with Imlie & Adi on her own & hide the truth from SK. I am expecting to see Meethi-Imlie & also Meethi-Adi convo very soon. I think initially she might want Imlie to leave Adi but once she speaks with Adi & gets to know his pov & his love for Imlie & wanting to give Imlie her rightful place in his life, she can be an ally to Adi.

Imlie currently is not getting convinced by Adi's points regarding revealing the truth & moving forward in their own relationship. Maybe having Meethi's perspective & advise will help her to come to the right conclusion. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Sabhi expectations ki chop hi hoti hai 99% of time but sochne main kaunsa tax lagega😆.

The TOTAL LACK OF REMORSE for treating Adi-Imlie badly 👏😆.....what irony.....yahaan Adi-Imlie are drowning in guilt to try and avoid hurting her and she is feeling SATISFIED after hurting them....nice, Didi, nice👏

Let's see how far she tries to stretch this card....lol I don't think it's going to play very well no matter how much victimhood is attached to it...and I'm talking about general audience now, not the people who will blindly defend her even for murdering anyone at this point😆.

Malini crossed some very big lines very obviously today....and I don't think any of this is going to generate sympathy for her now.

the farak Between People who are able to to look beyond themselves. it was so obvious how self centered malini is.. I get more and more amazed as she orders everyone around heck SIta maiya ko nahi baksha kisi aur ko toh khair kya hi bakshe gi but i can't withe her Fake determination and how in it she really doesn't even spare a single thought that adi is a human too and Akele gaadi nahi chala sakti she cannot put him on leash and Now start behaving like her amma to save whatever rishta she thinks shehas.. what was that my bestfriend se pyar kia so i don't have to Deal with heart break or do compromises something along those lines sorry my memory is hazy today.. matlab Best friend ko pyaar banaya toh woh dost hi nahi raha and kaunsa best friend you guys are barely friends.. and Woh bhi isne BF pe ehsaan kia thennn and now everyone should do it on her

I am sorry no attempt at the whitewash can workk they tried giving her a token.. sad monlogue and give sad parents ki sob story but it doesn't work it is as shallow and superficial as the defence statements and does nothing absolutely nothing for her caz yeh sympathy bhi as i say Bheek main maangti hai audience se bhi and Bheek main kuch bhi nahi milta jo genuine ho

I liked his advice to her about being herself also, their bond is being developed organically and doesn't feel forced, which is good. I hoped on Imlie-Sundar bond being developed too, but woh toh hua nahi sadly.

Nishant actor is doing better these days too I feel. His acting feels less wooden.

Totally agreed t once again shows so beautifully how Bk has taken the place of a father figure .. he doesn't needed too he has his own chidlren etc neither did imlie asked for it but somehow if you see BK has more of a bond with Imlie then any of his own children.. it is so beautifully woven in the warmth how he feels about imlie ki success and manoes imlie his own.. the way he guides her and worries for her.. He is the perfect Teacher and huide to her In the city who has immense pride in his student too.. in ways BK is kind of SK proxy in delhi for imlie.. and it is beautiful to watch him being a lighter version of SK where he can joke around tease her fight with her yet care so much for her and her success. it makes me so happy seeing adi seeing them mingle.. he does get Irked at times but at heart it makes him so happy and puts him at peace seeing all of them as one family.. and yes aparna giving her dahi and then adi subtly mentioning in flow ke asshirwaad lo it felt the most natural thing to do and so so heartfelt itna chota but meaningful moment..

oh and i haven't mentioned yet reh gaya but what was that tone didi was using with ehr love too before she unloaded on Imlie ke ab davaai kha li etc i came for you and you are here with ehr as if he was having FUN and not still sick.. So demeaning she is in everyway and she expects adi to be going round and round.. like legit the first time he got sick around her and this si how she behaves WOW*slow claps** again phir kaise pyaar na ho isse imlie se jo daant bhi kha leti hai isse duniya se ladh jaati hai iske liye Bunty bhaiya tak se dushmani mol leti hai . apna sab kuch daav pe laga deti yahan tak ke jaan bhi... when he didn't even prmised her anything in any form .. and best thing she does all that out of insaaniyat... unlike didi who lacks the basic courtesy

Nice One...AY...Loved the Title ...LOL...the man is called Gabbar by his own family and he just realizes that "Hum itney burey hai"...

But that one question actually hankered for an answer from Imlie...giving him some insight in her mind...The assurance he wanted...and Imlie being Imlie...deflects it and in that process makes Gabbar laugh..He seemed to be in so much pain...aansu nikal gaye the...naak beh rahi thi...Gosh you feel sorry...and in that state Imlie was the only remedy...

The man has tried his best now...short of going KABOOM he has tried everyway to make her understand...Imlie is fighting her own battles too...she is now slowly understanding that what she wants to do is not practically possible...even her usual flair has subdued...poor girl...has to grow up so fast because of this mess...cant even revel in the first throes of love!!!

And isnt it amazing...how she used to get so deeply hurt when Adi used to tell her to get out or of the kind..but she is not offended with Didi Lashing out on her...

Two unpopular opinions...

One...I like Pari..he is doing what a true friend would do...We are seeing on a different level...but had the case been reversed (like Adi was cheating on Imlie for Didi🤢, we would be asking why isnt he telling people the truth!) And he was right when he told Imlie that nobody is going to side with her when they come to know the truth...though knowing the CV ki aadat in this one...we might just see Ts standing behind Imlie like Aparna said today when getting Imlie ready for the college...

Two...Why is Sindoor such big issue...I get it because of Imlie and Pagdandiya ritual it is very important to her...but I am talking about the general hype....Sindoor doesnot signify the love and trust of married woman..it should be her choice to wear it..not symbolism...Just like men dont need any symbol on their head or feet to show they are married...

I kind of like the small snippets that Imlie gives in...Like she said when Adi gave her the ghadi...that it means she can share the time..Adi almost takes it in a stride...He has come to know he so well now...The importance of his every gift is so much for her...a girl who values the simplest of gestures...I wonder why Adi didnot take the conversation further...but then again...today's agenda seemed "Imlie ko college chhodna hai" so whatever whatever karne me Didi aa gai...

And now she is going full on grey to black mode...so chalo...whatever gets Imaliya out of this statusquo mode of hers

The actress playing MRs C seems to be taken ill or something (God bless her) or CVs wouldnt have missed the chance of showing her throw that phone yesterday😛
