I think that the confession is real and Anokhi will tell him that she liked him too but she needs to reconsider if she is willing to take a step forward given what he has told her. She wants to take it slow and take her time deciding. At this point, I hate to say there is nobody who will advise them to pursue the relationship (family and friends on either side)

He will be on pins and needles as he tries to convince her of his feelings while Shagun and Devilok will continue to create situations that can be misunderstood (making Anokhi withdraw more and more). They might even force him to get engaged. Babli situation will create an opportunity for Ahir to come closer to Anokhi which will further enrage Shaurya. It other words they both know each other's feelings but will hesitate acting on it as they deal with their individual insecurities. They have not even talked about real issues like Anokhi's career and her dreams and Shastha.

I think it will be fun to watch constant awareness and tension in the air where Shaurya is determined to charm and seduce her to admit to her true feelings for him while Anokhi wants to keep him at arms length even though she yearns for him. Meanwhile all the Devi, Alok, Tej, Shagun and Ahir are constantly creating problems and misunderstandings between them.

I can completely see how eventually a secret court marriage can fit in the storyline, They will need a legal document to fight the familial pressures and ensure that they will be together, no matter what.

I agree with your comment on Ahir. This is a really powerful and privileged family and they ended up destroying someone as strong as Astha's family life . Just the thought of what Anokhi went through so far is enough to scare most women off -ragging, media attention, kidnapping, slur on her character and falsely accusing her for cheating. While Shaurya may not have been involved in all of it and was helpful to her, the fact remains that he is associated with that family and the day he withdraws his protection, the Sab family will destroy Anokhi. Also not to mention he does not come across as a stable person emotionally, he is aggressive, egoistic and unapologetic. No one but Anokhi has seen his softer side. This relationship can very quickly turn abusive and there will be no one who can help Anokhi easily given Sab family's clout. In other words the fear of Ahir and Babli is very real.

Also what is Devi doing right now- she runs the entire Sab family as a mafia boss and she is out to throw Anokhi from Shaurya's life, whatever it takes. It completely amazes me that none of the sons have any voice in their own marraiges in Sab house, who is she to throw Kanchan out without talking to Yash or force Shaan to get a divorce. It seems that men of Sab family have no emotional connection to their wives.

I have no doubt that Shaurya and Anokhi have a very soulful connection. They complement each other and thier love is all encompassing and passionate. I have been wondering if that is enough for a woman in life. If I had to chose between my love and being caged in a regressive household and possibility of achieving all my other dreams along with a somewhat less passionate love, what would I choose.

I agree. I think this alone is enough to carry the story forward and we don't need 3rd angles at all. So far we've seen SS go against his family only once - cheating scandal. And that's not enough.

Sharuya needs to stop ahir ahir jaap and look at issue that will arise once he is over his love phase. He really thinks devi will accept his relationship with a girl she never liked also who's not upto their "status"? He asked for a date and mentioned ahir twice, and probably if anokhi wasn't in her own bubble she would have frowned on it too. His feelings should not be driven by jealousy but due to her being good to him. But nahi uska obsession ghusana hai har jagah... probably if she rejects him he will go oh it's the Hawaldar isn't it 😵
