Literally everything stayed as unresolved as it ever was between Aditya and Imlie. How is the Mumbai thing even supposed to work for a man who cannot even stay without Imlie? And he sounded like he wanted to do it alone? Kismet obviously will not let it happen. But Imlie’s shame is eating at her. So much so that she is refusing to listen to Aditya, to listen to reason. This situation is just going to get more and more indefensible. Maybe that’s what they are going for.

Malini is plain awful. Every single time she needs to hold Aditya accountable, she snaps at Imlie. It is beyond distasteful. But this is just the beginning. Chahte the AdiLie scenes, mil gaya Malini’s monologue. She knows she is her mom. She knows her marriage is her parents marriage. And she wants to save it? By doing what? Aarti? By being inspired by mom?Bakwaas. I know they needed to setup the next phase for Malini’s character but can she be anymore clingy, needy and possessive than she already is? Shaayad yeh likh ke I’m already jinxing it.

Mithi learning the truth was heartbreaking as expected. How will she ever trust her god again? That lady is so brilliant in emoting. It was a beautiful scene. Prakash is such a useless drunk. Do din tik nahin paaya with the secret? Idiot.

I do not know if it was just me but that sindoor removal scene was quite impactful. Malini will try hard to break them apart but each time SM will help Imlie save their marriage since she was the one who brought her and Aditya together. They are definitely not going to end because Malini wants to separate them.

What was the “Malini aaj ajeeb si baatein kar rahin hai?” line from Aditya though? Imlie ko jab suna rahi thi tab ajeeb nahin tha?

Imlie is too confused right now too much is happening with her on professional and personal front simultaneously she is shaken by the whole malini didi ke reactions at home.and the whole what do I exactly want why does it hurt me way main it is too much for a girl her age dealing with all this and then college ka pressure added and now wahan bhi didi misbehaving with her.. she wouldn't want to tell adi for obvious reasons but I feel he might come for some reason koi cheez hi dene ke bahane aa jaaye shayad ke you forgot in car or something and will first hand witness it.. and then phatega bomb at home caz sab kuch jhel.lega Imlie ki insult nahi..

Imlie is still so inexperienced and let's not forget she has absolutely nobody who she can speak with her mann ki baat in any capacity.adi toh phir bhi apna dukhda iske aage ro leta hai thoda halka ho jaata hai yeh toh adi ke saamne bhi nahi kar sakti caz of her dilemma

I am sure we will be discussing Malini quite a bit today - but I am happy we finally got to see this side of her. As someone pointed out earlier, Mailin’s downfall has started and Imlie will rise.
Meethi was fab today in her scene - I do not think she is going to say anything to SK yet.. but this might bring Prakash back to the city for some reason.

As you said, less Adi-Imlie scenes but the ones we got were still special and had meaning in them....even a brief 30 second scene with the watch had so much weight.....and the kaadha scene is worth revisiting without the Didi baggage....lots of good stuff in that scene.

Mumbai angle ki clarity toh coming epis mein hi milegi....it seems like another one of his impulsive decisions he's taking in frustration....lol but does he really think new and not so improved Malini bhi isko kahin akele jaane degi? hahahaha😆 good luck, Babusahib :P

Yes, Malini's downfall has definitely started officially now as she embraces her Mom's approach completely.....Imlie was destined to rise regardless of Malini's fall.....roshni apna raasta dhund hi leti hai.

Yeah Mithi is definitely not going to tell SK yet....she will become another in the group of people hiding this....lol waiting to see how Imlie tries to explain her rishta with Babusahib to her Amma now😆....and imagine the next Adi-Mithi meeting 😆.

I second you on this.Imlie is going through a lot..Apne ko apna nahi keh parhi...Itne efforts karhi to make things right for Malini ,apne khushiyon ka na soch k n badle me itne ajeeb reaction malini k she does not deserve.As a 19yo with emotion sickness & with none to confide in she is indeed the one suffering the most 💔I just hope Adi ajaye kisi bahane..wese cannot tolerate another Mrs C ka kuch to source banega😃

Great thread & great thoughts to hear.

-Regarding Imlie & Adi scene, I liked Aditya perspective that he cannot tolerate deceiving Malini, Imlie & himself. The physical trauma is quite representative of his pain that Imlie was able to witness, hence her response as to Aditya's point on thinking that Imlie wouldn't allow him. Even Imlie's response was nice as to treading onto path of truth and concurrently bearing that pain. Mumbai is the only path to escapism in terms of battling the internal conflicts for Aditya. The intertwining of the Kaada & Imlie's point on people drinking the bitter thoughts so easily was so realistic. It shows how others are able to swallow the bitter thoughts whereas it takes the whole nine yards for others to do so. It was fun to witness the kaada banter & BS giving in to Imlie's persistence.

Malini, dead-ass is replicating her mother & it is really unhealthy with those subtle taunts & nautankibaazi that she continues to perform. The concept of zarurat is quite heavily intense. I feel it goes quite nicely with the concept of rights that is discussed in this show. I liked Adi's befitting response on manners to Malini who gave a 2 minute lecture of mannerism & etiquette plus how it correlates to that of socializing ladies. -Didi's scene of correlating her mother's failed relationship to hers just exemplifies how too much expectations can be just TOO much hence Aditya's illness towards Malini's behavior in recent episodes. Her learning from her parents' failed relationship just a Fail. Changing because Aditya is changing? What another crystal clear example of deviating or being delusional towards relationship. Being strong for love doesn't always require words, LOL. The one who can faint in a former episode talks about being strong. Sorry for this rant, but I was just LOLing. 🤪

-Meethi's motherly take on wishing Imlie was nice done, just in contrast to AC's constant habit of nose-poking in her daughter's marital life in the past. So, Piyakar Prakash had to spill the beans despite promising to Imlie, what a backstabber. I just wasn't sure really because of a half-truth, did Meethi think that history was being repeated?

-Glad to see Imlie embark on her education journey. The innocence, the excitement sorta made me remind me of my college days LOL par it was definitely performed by ST. I liked that she didn't use any surname in her dialogue, just "Imlie" - good to see that what she means in not utilizing her surname, she doesn't actually mean, she demonstrates it to the opposite person or in this case, a mere object -- the mirror. Awesome to see the Tripathi family boost her confidence on her first day. Thank goodness, no lecture from didi on her first day.

-LOL, I was just LOLing when Adi and Imlie were conversing in the car regarding the watch and how punctuality is imperative. GM was flipping his hair in the mirror as if they are going on a long date or something.🤣

Didi & her repetitive nature on Adi being her possession. LOL, her inquisitive demeanor over the vermilion saying that people won't comment yet she was the first one to do so + overgeneralization over students stirring up new controversy when it hasn't even occurred yet.
