I hope you went ahead and slapped her. Also, please feel free to add a couple more from us forum members...the way she is obsessed with Dev is like he is some kind of toy. Like, how is Dev yours? He is a human. You don't own him just because you are married to him. I swear why do ITV dramas always have one excruciatingly annoying character that spoils the show. They did not necessarily have to make her so one-dimensional. It's like her existence in the show is only to say "mera Dev."
