There should infinite series too but not more than 500 episodes and only 2 out of 10 shows should be infinite. Even in 1990s good infinite series existed like Shanti, Swabhiman and Tara. So infinite shows can't be completely stopped but reduced. So rest 8 shows should be finite from 20 to 150 episodes.

I kinda agree you know Juhi in Pak they air 2 daily soaps at 7 to 8 pm and from 8 pm onwards only series format shows. What a great way to keep both series and infinite series alive.

But only 2 out of 10 jaise puraane time pe aata tha. Yes on Zindagi there was 1 infinite show called Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti while others were finite. Infinite shows ghise-pite nahi par Shanti, Swabhimaan aur Tara jaise hone chaahiye. Usme FLs saree pehenti thi par simple ya formal sarees na ki banarsi-kanjeevaram or any heavy and flashy sarees ones aur vo shows urban hi the.
