Story so far ...

Maan returns to India after quite some years for important business issue only to find a senior employee of his Company trying to force a girl in KC's office premises. He rescues her but is blown away by her beauty ... when he comes face to face with her.

A sudden lust to claim her rises within him but the fact that the girl, Geet is the daughter of one of the most trusted and loyal employee of KC forces Maan to promise himself ... to protect her and bury his lust for her.

Geet starts working with Maan and day by day their interactions and physical intimacy results in firing up his desire to claim her whereas Geet on the other hand considers Maan as her ideal, her mentor and hero worships him but gradually falls for him.

Shasha ... Maan's friend cum employee also senses the fatal attraction between Maaneet and vows to use it against Maan to settle some old scores.

Maaneet who are unknowingly trapped ... in not only their own emotional and physical turmoils but ...also have lots of people around them ... who are busy plotting against them for their own ulterior motives!

Finally Maan manages to confront Geet and innocent Geet confesses her Love to Maan.

Shocked by her confession Maan makes his intentions very clear to Geet that he doesn't believe in Love or Relationships!

He owns up that he is attracted to her but its just physical for him ... Naive Geet assures him that she loves him but will never try to bind him in any relation and the shrewd MSK makes complete use of this opportunity alluring Geet into their togetherness!!

The Shimla trip breaks all their barriers ... brings them really close ... only to separate them!!

Once back Maan fires Geet from her job ... she is held captive in her house by Rano ... Geet's siblings come to Adi for help ... Restless Maan too wants to know about Geet.

They all go to meet a person on Mohinder Handa's request .

2 Months Leap

Maan looses a prestigious contract and Geet ruins one of his plans.

Already frustrated Maan vent out all his anger on Geet and hurts her real bad.

Geet walks away from his life.

Rano senses trouble so she comes to Maan and finally the biggest truth of her life surfaces out shocking Maan!

Geet is missing ... Khurana family get to know about Maaneet showdown.

Khurana family past also unfolds leaving Maan all the more guilty!

Geet is kidnapped by Vikram and Vikas (Vicky) is the traitor in Khurana Constructions.

Shasha confronts Vicky and clears all his misunderstandings revealing the Truth to him.

All team up together and leave to rescue Geet.

At the den Geet gains consciousness only to witness Brij had also landed up behind her ....Vikram reveals his plan scaring Geet and also Brij who is also now in Vikram's captivity.

Vicky enters in annoying Vikram but he doesn't react much. Vikram strikes a deal with Brij that once his mission is accomplished he will handover Geet to Brij.

But Brij realizes that Vikram can't be trusted and is in bid to escape from here while a guilty Vicky tries to pacify a panicked Geet that he means no harm to her or Maan.

Finally Maan arrives!

After the final duel between Maan and Vikram.

Vikram looses Vicky gets injured saving Geet

Vikram and his goons are arrested but Vikram manages to give a massive blow to Maan by shooting him but Geet takes the bullet.

[HOSPITAL]

Maan rushed along with the medical staff as they pushed the stretchers of the injured Geet and Vicky towards the operation theatre. Maan held on to his Geet till they reached the door where he was stopped from entering … he tried to argue but the nurse was firm. He stood watching as Geet was wheeled in …. Her hands slipping off his hands …it felt like his life was slipping off his hands!!

Finally the door closed but still through the small circular glass he kept gazing in until a green curtain was pulled as the surgery was about to begin …. As his Geet disappeared from his sight!!

Thankfully they got here in time due to Adi’s prompt and perfect arrangements. They were immediately air lifted from the jungle.... Maan had instructed Adi to the needful and be ready as he was aware the situation could go out of control anytime and he didn’t want to take a chance with Geet.

Jay accompanied ACP Brar with Vikram and his goons to complete the required legal formalities while the others headed to the hospital.

Shasha already informed Khurana’s, Handa’s n Kapoor’s about them being in the hospital as

Maan was not in a state to do so as … He was in a state of wreck!!

Mrs Kapoor was very worried for Vicky…. Though their miseries started from the time Vikram n his Mom Roma entered their lives!! …. She gave up on their happy life with her husband …. separated from him chose a lonely life in London … so that everyone could live in peace!

But little did she know this was her biggest mistake. She never thought instead of bringing peace and happiness in their family …. She had not only invited danger but left an open ground for Roma to create havoc in their lives.

Her Husband nearly lost his life and her son in his ignorance has entered a dangerous TRAP.

And now Vicky’s ignorance had put in danger innocent Geet’s and

her baby’s life.

She just hoped Geet and Vicky were fine!!

Somewhere a sense of unease was Setting in!

Her reverie was broken as her phone ringed…. It was Shasha.

Within no time the entire clan KHURANA’S, HANDA’S and KAPOOR’S were here.

Shasha briefed them about what actually transpired and how both Geet n Vicky were injured. She tried to calm all of them informing them that the Doctors are trying their best!

Just then one of nurse came up to them with consent form as they needed families signatures on the consent form for both Geet n Vicky’s surgery.

As Maan Singh Khurana was a reputed name and also sensing the emergency the hospital authorities didn’t waste anytime for regular formalities but these formalities were vital and needed.

Mrs Kapoor signed the papers immediately not wanting to create any problems or delay in her child’s surgery. She prayed that her son was safe!!

The nurse then queried as to who will sign for Geet ….. everyone looked towards Maan who still stood motionless peeping in through the small window of the operation theater absolutely clueless about the formalities etc.

Shasha accompanied the nurse towards Maan very well knowing his current temperament and his outburst on the hospital authorities in his state of panic and anxiety.

Shasha gently called out to Maan putting her hand on his shoulders. Maan looked her way when Shasha slowly forwarded him the papers. He looked at her and to the nurse.

Shasha stated tentatively.

“Maan … yeh consent form hain Geet ki surgery ke liye … tumhari sign chahiye …yeh zaroori hain!!” She stressed on the last part.

Maan was absently gonna sign the papers when the nurse added unmindfully … flaring up his temper.

“Mr Khurana bacche aur maa dono ki condition bahot critical hain … ho sakta hain dono hi na ….” Before she could complete.

Maan threw the papers away and marched dangerously towards the nurse scaring the wits off her!!

“KYA … KAHA… TUMNE?” He uttered each word almost daring her to continue.

The nurse gulped in fear.

“Maan … please it’s a formality … a procedure … please samjho!!”

Shasha was quick to intervene.

“Shasha meri biwi … mera baccha … andar apni zindagi se lad rahe hain …aur yeh log …” He shouted.

“Main samajhti hoon lekin yeh zaroori hain Maan …. Kuch nahi hoga dono ko … Bhagwaan pe vishwaas rakho … tumhare sign ke bina yeh surgery…” Shasha requested.

Maan was about to argue but Rano held his hand and spoke.

“Maan … Shasha bilkul sahi keh rahi hain …. Geet ke Babaji uss ke saath kuch galat nahi hone denge … meri bacchi ne bahut kuch saha hain aaj tak … Woh uss ke saath aur kuch bhi bura nahi hone denge!!...Vishwaas karo!!”

Even Dadimaa persuaded Maan to sign the form as it was vital for Geet’s surgery.

With a heavy heart Maan signed the dotted line!!

A teardrop fell from his eyes as this sign would either ensure a life filled with happiness or remorse of lifetime for all his deeds!!

Maan lifelessly walked to the prayer room … it had pictures of Gods of all religions … he didn’t know whom to pray … how to pray …because he never believed in them … but his Geet believed in them and worshiped them!!

Kneeling down he joined his hands and prayed for innocents inside the operation theatre …. fighting for their lives!!

Vicky was more like a younger brother to him …. he had endangered his life to save his Geet!!

GEET …. HIS LIFE … HISSOUL …. HIS EVERYTHING!!!

He was such a big fool who never realized how precious she was for him!!

In his anger … hatred …half truth …. he ruined their blissful life!!

" Woh toh jaanti bhi nahi hain ke woh Maa bannewali hain!!"

“Agar koi saza ke kaabil hain to woh main hoon … Geet aur mera baccha nahi … unhe bacha lijiye … chahe toh meri jaan le lijiye!!!”

“Please meri Geet aur hamaare bacche ko bacha lijiye …. Bacha lijiye…. please….”

He bent down touching his forehead to the ground and pleaded!!

Wiping his tears he got up n went out to see the Dr coming out of the OT

He rushed to the Dr and inquired about Geet

The Dr informed them that they have successfully removed the bullet from Geet’s body but she isn’t responding to the treatment and her blood pressure is fluctuating.

Both her n Baby’s condition is still critical so they are shifting her to the ICCU.

[PS: I’m not much aware of medical detailing so just taking creative liberty with the medical procedures.]

She also updated that Vicky’s bullet is also removed and he is out of danger. He will soon be transferred to normal ward.

Updating them with the information Dr rushed back in.

Maan was moving towards the prayer room …. he passed through a secluded corner near the room when he overheard Beeji berating Rano.

Rano had gone in to pray for Geet’s, her baby and Vicky’s well being. Beeji who had been seething since long witnessing the prominence that Rano was getting from everyone especially Maan…. the last straw was when Rano very confidently prompted Maan to sign the consent form … Maan calmed down and signed it too.

“Wah … daad dene padegi teri Rano … kya kamala ke naatak karti hain sab ke saamne.”

“Ab tak ghar mein roz koi na koi naatak karti thi …. ab bahar aakar aadarsh Maa ban ne ka kya naatak kiya hain …. ke yahan sab ko lagta hain tu kitni acchi hain … Geet ki sagi maa se bhi badh kar.” Beeji scoffed.

Tears rolled down Rano’s face Maan was about to move away not wanting to interfere in their family matters when something struck him.

He remembered all those times when Geet had accepted, loved and cared for his family, his relations….making that stoned mansion …their Home!

Today Geet wasn’t here and Rano was alone… no one by her side he saw Mohinder … though he sat silently on his wheelchair yet was looking towards Rano with anger and disgust.

He couldn’t leave Rano alone to face the wrath of the family. In Geet’s absence the Mother needed him!!

Wait … what did he just think … Mother?

With a firm resolve hewalked towards the Handa’s where Beeji was about to start with next set ofaccusations.

“Koss ti hoon main uss din ko jab maine tujhe apni bahu bana ne ke bare mein socha … galti ho gayi mujhse …. mujhe kya pata tha….” She was about to continue but Maan interrupted her.

“Sahi kahan aap ne Beeji… Galti ho gayi aap se … ke aap ne ek 17 saal ki bacchi ki shaadi aapke bête sekar di!”

Maan’s presence as well his words shocked the Handa’s …. Rano looked towards Maan with pleading eyes but his firm and stern demeanour clearly stated that there was no room for any doubt that he will stop on her request.

Rano closed her eyes in defeat as she realized her closely guarded truth of years was about to emerge!!

“Kya aap ne ek baar inn se poocha ke yeh shaadi karna chahti hain … ya nahi?

“Bilkul ussi tarah jaise saalon pehle aap ne phir se aisa hi ek faisla kiya …. Geet ki shaadi Rahul se karne ka … bina uski marzi jaane!”

“Agar yeh souteli Maa nahi hoti toh Geet ki zindagi tab bhi barbaad ho jaati jab woh bacchi thi kyunki Mr Handa toh yeh shaadi aur inhe apni biwi maante hi nahi the!”

“Aap logon ke liye toh yeh ghar aur bacche sambhaalnewali bahu thi.”

“ … Lekin Geet ke liye yeh sab kuch thi …Maa … Dost … sab kuch!!”

“Yeh aurat ek dhaal bankar Geet ko bachaati rahi har dard … har dukh se …. aur aaj tak karti aa rahi hain…. akele!”

“Agar Rahul se Geet ki shaadi ho jaati na … toh uski poori zindagi barbaad ho jaati kyun ki woh pehle se shaadi shudha tha … aur sirf Geet ki property ke liye woh …. Geet se jhoothi shaadi karnewala tha.”

Handa’s gasped in horror at the new found information.

Maan had extracted all information about Rahul and Brij at time of their wedding to ensure that they don’t create any further trouble in Geet’s life.

Maan then narrated to them everything about how Rano safeguarded Geet from all the pains and turmoils… by shunning her away and putting up an appearance of being mean … How she never let Rahul come near Geet as she knew the real intentions of the Mother-Son and how she gave permission for their wedding when she realized Brij too was after Geet’s property.

Maan confronted both Beeji and Mohinder …. how could they not see this woman’s pain …. keep misunderstanding her … accusing her …”

By that time Khurana’s, Khanna’s, his friends all were here as they sensed some friction. Wary of Maan’s outburst they rushed to calm him down only to witness a very new and different facet of Maan.

Looking around Maan realized everyone was here.

“Main saari zindagi rishton se bhaagta raha …. rishton ko … parivaar ko … aurton ko galat samajhta raha …. lekin Geet ne mujhe badal diya!”

Maan entered the ICCU clad in the special clothes to avoid any infection to Geet. He saw her lifeless form on the bed with ‘n’ number of tubes attached to her body.

His heart shattered to pieces witnessing His Geet in this state.

Sitting on the stool beside her bed taking her weak lifeless hand gently and very carefully in his hand.

Maan whispered.

“ …sab aaye hain tumse milne lekin tumhe toh kisi bhi parvaah hi nahi hain!!”

“Theek hain badla lena hain .... sazaa deni hain … tum jo kahogi main woh sab kuch karunga … I promise!!

“Kyun kiya aisa … kya soch ke tum mere aur meri maut ke beech aayi …. koi kisi ke liye aise apni jaan daav pe lagate hain kya?”

“Woh bhi mere jaise Dusht Danav ke liye … Jo sirf tumhe dard aur takleef hi de sakta hain!”

Maan rued knowing his angel … his child woman was only capable of doing this!!

Staking her life for his safety!!

A tear rolled down his cheek as he remembered each time he hurt her …. Insulted her love … suspected her intentions … the list of his deeds in endless!!

Maan was lost in his grief that he couldn’t realize that there was slight scrunch on her forehead.

His Geet could sense his pain even in her unconscious state!

Forlornly he pleaded to her.

Maan whispered helplessly placing her hand on her tummy.

He broke down.

Getting a grip over himself ..his anger rising now!

Getting up from the stool he announced.

“Jaa raha hoon main …sach batane aur usle baad apni yeh gunaahbhari zindagi khatam karne …. Ho saketoh mujhe maaf kar dena Geet!!”

Their happy moments was interrupted when the Dr walked in to inform Maan to leave but seeing Geet conscious she immediately rushed to check her.

Geet was fine was shifted to a normal room now.
