Mass Email Star Plus| DT friendly reminder P.8

Guys on a serious note, instead of bashing and fighting here or in SNS, we should Mass email SP about the regressive track and story line. The channel have to approve the script first then it's shot. So if we mass email SP on this front, they may keep in mind and may tell them to change the narrative in future. Because ultimately the channel holds the power.

Waise the channel knows it’s a remake so they did approve the story line.

So why would the channel bother in intervening the story as it is fetching them numbers.
Virat throwing Sai out will give them more numbers as people love drama

This show is toxic content wise onscreen and the publicity they do off screen. All they do is rile the fans up and they are happy.

Still people watch that includes me as well and expect the channel to do something.

Unfortunately the numbers aren't coming up to the mark and obviously will lose more numbers due to IPL.

We still have chance to change the storyline, not now's but of future's . Even being a remake, Tamil had a better redemption after Saranya's suicide track. So atleast we can expect them to stop showing regressive content atleast

They promote nayi soch yet let makers show such crap....

we should email them now before so that the truth revelation is complete no half truth full truth....

otherwise there will be no going back!

The only thing I know Star won’t let them mess with us Sai character.... Star promoted break the chain through Sai and they won’t let them ruin her character for sure

This is an official remake of Kusum Dola. How could anyone question the storyline? Why would they agree to do so? Even the actors must have been given a thorough narration of the story before they got signed up for the roles. So they may not oblige as per my understanding.

Remake and copying has difference I guess. Keeping the basic storyline and characters same, they could do wonders if they want to use their own brain. Let's take example of Nag Nadi, V'Day, it was not in KD, still they added that, Virat manaoing Sai with tea was also a good scene extra, him bringing her favourite food . In KD Rono bought normal eatables not her favorite food. Then the Shivratri scene where he said Sorry again for the money matter, the scholarship and gifting each other sequence all are CVS creativity and the whole Holi scenes.

They don't need to copy KD, they can make their own way of remake.

Star may not agree at this point. Our trps are not bad, they're not touching 3. Ghum is still the slot leader and was the leader even when trps fell.

At this point, they need drama, because drama brings trps. I mentioned in another post, their competitor is bringing in the original lead FL and now BB winner. Plus, IPL is going on.

If they go soft on drama, they will lose out. No harm in trying though. At least, they can redeem or tweak the characters better, with the drama elements.

Not comparing but even anupamaa is a remake! They add their own creativity... the same ph runs anupamaa in Marathi but it is different from the Hindi version the jist being the same.... shows need to adapt according to the audience what works on regional television will not work on Hindi television that too during prime time air...

The same thing is with Shaurya aur anokhi ki kahani despite being a remake they use their creativity, it’s them same with Imlie, mehndi hai rachnewaali, Pandya store, and new shows on Star which are remakes!

Just because it’s a remake it’s not necessary that everything has to be copied blindly
