Thats not true, Virat is important to Sai but her walls are too high. She would do anything for Virat and she has done that as well. But if she has to choose between her happiness (Being with Virat) or Devi tai's happiness she would choose Devi Tai. As according to her, Virat's happiness is with our Vahini. She does not know yet that he is in love with her. He hasn't told her yet.
Well if we talk about the Holi incident, it was blissful to watch and we as an audience got an insight to what
Virat feels. We know he has fallen in love with Sai, she doesnt. For her the advances were more physical than emotional, so she would take time to connect.
But its a different story for Virat, his advances had more emotion quotient so he is going to be more hurt. If he had no feelings for her, he would not have been so angry and it would not have affected him so much. So its going to be an emotional ride for all of us
