Actually, you're right. Since its now everywhere, most neutral viewers will have heard it and very few would come online to search and listen again. Plus, all these other platforms means YT and the views arent the only measure for success.
I have actually been seeing other Bollywood songs showing 300M+ on their thumbnail but actually having only around 100M+ so I wonder if the view reduction is a recent YT thing.
Either that or the people who uploaded those thumbnails have been very optimistic 🤣
I do think YT continually changes up its algo though, so it's entirely possible the views were reduced en masse at some point for those videos.

Ok. Checked it out 😆. HK did a song last yearthat also had 2 parts with a TBC in Part 1 😬. Arjit sang it and also the Part 1 has 105M+ in the thumbnail while the actual views are 75M. 🤷♀️

Chalo, as I keep saying, every MV has its own kismat. And tbh, ours has been a resounding success already 🧿 From the pov of those involved, the first week showed them exactly what they wanted to see. See... technically its all work done. The whole ITV heard the goonj of sharbhi coming back. People who were supposed to notice them and their popularity (directors, ph) kept a eye on views only for beg. 2-3 days.
