Bold- very disappointing, and Sarangdhar at the same time seems to have become richer.

The school bus drops her kid outside a kulfi wala as well 🤔

Also, another part- I've always assumed Alia to have been a SoBo (South Bombay) character given the wealth she possesses. Not sure if it was explicitly mentioned in previous episodes though, but it's a reasonable assumption to make. If her house was in SoBo, no autos would ply in that area- it's simply not allowed.

If she's now travelling by auto to her house, it means in addition to DDS, money and one kid, the old house is perhaps not hers anymore either!

Not sure if I'll be able to watch this regularly- the change in Alia's character is disappointing & tough to digest.

Alia doesn't own DDS- she's a worker there, and the person owning it rebukes her when she objects to a meeting being revised saying it interferes with the time her kid would come home. Owner says she's the reason folks don't hire working mothers.

Alia tells Sunita she is short on money and can't afford extra expenses

Alia hasn't paid the electricity bill for her house (although this looks like an oversight on her part, and not due to poverty)

Alia's kid hides from bullies. Sarang's kid openly takes on bullies and has grown up with Kumkum's son.

Sarang appears to have made it as a writer- his publisher seems to suggest there's lot of buzz in the market.

Nothing on the kids' separation.

When the society watchman praises Agastya saying he could become a good writer, Alia responds that he should be a good person first and foremost.

But the daughter is definitely Alia's kid - she even forgets names like her, so we can put the remaining theories about her identity to rest.

Sony is definitely bribing us with kids because omg these two are soooooo cute!!!! Both of them. Sayuri & Aggu❤️

I loved their traits soooo much!! Sayuri being strong yet goofy like Alia & Aggu being charming like Sarang

Totally loved that they showed Sayuri uttering movie dialogues like Kamleshwari😆 so cute.

Sarang as father looks ☺️☺️☺️

I am quite disappointed with sudden leap. I really really hope there are enough FBs which shows Sarang's career struggle phase, more of Saralia's relationship + their development as parents briefly🤔

Hella disappointed with Alia being shown as poor as well. I mean I have no problem with FL/ML being in any financial status but DDS is built in Alia's hard work & dedication. How can it just be passed on to someone else! Too unfair😵

Precap- Sarang saying Sayuri bullies kids is another She's definitely not a bully, she just took a stand against bullying.

I was proud of the serial - that it showed the female lead to be educated, successful businesswoman and have a strong character 👍🏼.

The only way I could perhaps reconcile to this if Sarang made some taunt about her being rich, and she therefore decided to sell off everything (and give it to her parents or charity ) and opted to lead a middle class life.

Even then, it would be a handicap for her son growing up, and I don't see Alia as a character doing something like that.

If we think about it the portrayed economic downfall of Alia may well be plausible due to the hasty decisions she took after conceiving

- buying out Mr Poonawala as he was fronting for her mother

- taking on unknown new investors & the company was already having problems when they returned from Mathura

- trying to pay off Sarang

- paying off BMP providing him with evidence to use against her - keeping in mind he could claim anything with the evidence of her cheque. Sarang would ask her & he did ask but she forgot everything in a haze of maternal & romantic love.

Totally true that a Harvard grad would not usually be scraping by but she may be tied in by contract with the investors & Alia is also clearly not in a situation to take on a new job as she may not be in a position to perform up to the required standard.

I really cant see why her mother would not be helping herUnless her parents got back together & she cut ties or refused help.

Many many unanswered questions- which do make it interesting.

Certainly my mother for one is taking great interest after several days of being bored with the romance - she has said she‘s probably too old to enjoy the sloppiness & repeated ILUs & I must admit it was a bit insipid even for my taste

Questions:

Did Sarang resent her first delivering him to then ‘buying’ him from his dad? i must admit it is a very substantial betrayal- he’s not going to realise he was suffocating her at that time

Did he get upset that she kept pregnancy problem secret?
how did he get custody of their daughter?
did they have a legal battle over it?
did he think she faked her love?
why does Alia think he is a bad person?

its rather painful but if they show this part properly we may find it worthwhile. I also think this rift was preplanned. All the groundwork was laid for the past couple if momths.

If nothing else they would not have been able to get such suitable children at short notice & they are acting well too
