SRK gets ready for Paachvi Pass

On his look for the show: I do not interfere with my looks whether it is for a show or a film. Anaida, Rosa, Firoza and Naresh are taking care of my look. I am not very creative as far as setting looks is concerned. I never object on whatever costumes or style they give me. This is a fun and easy show and it is for younger audiences and as far as I am concerned and moreover my only concern is that it should fit me well.

On a specially designed rest room: I like this room as whenever I see up it feels like I am sitting and looking at the stars closely. They have made special arrangements so that I can rest. But fortunately this is a weekend show so I think it should be less hectic. Basically we discuss scripts here. It is supposedly for resting but that never happens. I like open spaces and there is a lot of natural light in this room. There is a bed in the room but I have never used that. I have used the dining table and a sofa. One of the corners I used for my Knight Rider's work. Sometimes my kids come here and they chill out here. Otherwise people come to meet me here for work. I conduct my meetings and all here, so when we design our first posters for the Knight Riders we decide to keep it here in this room. It is not dedicated corner of the room but I work on my laptop at that corner.

On being back on the telly: If the film or the concept of the show interests me then I decide to do it. If I think I can do it a better job only then I take up anything. I have said this before also if I would have not been actor then I would have been teacher. I like to play with kids. This quiz show is for adults and the question varies from standard 1st to 5th. Kids are like helpline for the contestants. I have never seen such show before this. It's intelligent, smart. It helps you to earn money and it is very educative.

On being different from KBC: It is different from the KBC as the prize money is more this time. So far it is a good experience as there are lots of teachers, principals, models, students who are coming in the show and they have enjoyed it. They all are educated and intelligent in their respective fields. Winning and losing is not as scary as it was in KBC and the prize money is more. Even after losing the game they were not upset. So as far as things like dancing, hugging and all will be a part of this show too but as far as the material part is concerned I think now with the second show I have become little cold hearted. But so far I have not seen any one very disappointed which I used to feel during KBC and I voluntarily used to gift watches to them.

But finally it is a quiz show and we just want intelligent people in the show and want them to win more money. If they are educated and they need the money then I hope all their wishes are fulfilled.

On getting his IPL team to play: I have invited Yuvraj Singh for the show. It would be fun to have him on the show. I have spoken with Sourav and Dhoni as well. Yuvraj had confirmed the invitation. But finally it will depend on his match schedule and all, as he won't want to miss his matches!

On his student days: I was a good student and was never bad at all. I did very well and used to study in last few days of my exams. But I wasn't a dedicated student. I have a habit that whatever I do, I do it with dedication. I always want to do it in best possible way. But it is true that I am not smarter than 5th grader. Actually what happens is we know the answers of the questions but we since we have studied them a long time back we get confused. The questions are not tough compared to KBC but I also have to refer for the answers. The simplicity of the game actually shocks you. They are very simple questions and you can easily win five crore rupees if you concentrate. But also the atmosphere troubles you bit. Sometimes it feels shameful that we have to do cheating with kids and you have to say loudly.

On his fans enjoying with him: There is a lot of scope for interaction and there is always freshness and happiness on the sets. It is a very colourful set. There is lot of hugging and loving on the show. I hardly get any chance to meet my fans for whom I work. So because of this show I will at least get a chance to meet 100-150 people in entire season. I will be surely happy to meet them and incidentally they can also get a chance to win money. I can kiss them or hug them and I have not met anyone who did not like this. It gives me a chance to say thanks to them for all the love and support.

On rehearsing for the show: I have done rehearsals with my son and his friends. I think they will show some footage of it. Some of my actor friends Preity and all also came. Farah could not make it this time because of her babies. Kids actually do not play this game, but they are the important part of the show. It is very interesting to have kids in the show since the show is having questions based on 5th graders and they get very animated with it. At whatever time I reach home I carry the questions and I read it out at my dining table and my kids give me answers.

On the gifts he collects on the show: They bring everything with love so I like to keep it here only. But at the end of the season I take it back home. I have a special place which is my personal library where my wife presents keeps it. By the time the show ends there are so many beautiful things and memories and this whole room fills with gifts and pictures. It is very touching…
