Currently you cant delete messages from the outbox. They get deleted once the recieving member deletes them from their inbox.

As far as I am aware if an AT's single thread has 2 DT notes it instantly becomes locked for 7 days atleast this was how it was in forums i have been part of before... I thought we were supposed to do all those actions to maintain the decorum but telling anything to mods is like ulta chor kotwal ko daante.. it's more like don't tell us let it happen and sort it amongst you guys.. No Disgusting posts doing sexual exploitations are ever locked.. Members are clearly attacking other members being rude to them abusing but nothing happens .

Been Part of many many Different Forums through out my years on IF never seen a more Sluggish Job being done by Moderation in any other forum.. and more breaches it's is like the mods themselves don't care what happens they just don't want To get involved and Let SPAMMERS and Mind you very OBVIOUS SPAMMERS do the same nonsense every single day and don't call them out at all.. or issue warnings or notes. Instead there DT notes always Involve of DO NOT DO REPORTS

Its been Enough we really need regulation so one can have a healthy environment in the forum

It has reached a point where I have to keep informing Newbies every single day of Basic Rules and then be the target since mods wouldn't do that.. i have been part of IF for way too long to let it slip down like this where it becomes unbearable to discuss something caz same spam is in every thread and no actual content worth discussing..

and before you say talk to the channel moderator of the issue well She is the only active member of DT right now and nothing against her Personally the person has been nice to me only but the job isn't getting done the message isn't reaching the Offenders that's all . n o hard feelings against any of the DT members i understand they have busy schedules too and lives .. just wanted to say that before it is taken as a rant against DT team.. I just want strict actions on the obvious Culprits so the sanity can sustain..

I am going to address the concerns mentioned here since I have dealt with the MID issue you mentioned. Firstly, whenever there is a report, it is handled whenever a DT of the section comes online. There was 50+ reports just yesterday. MIDs were banned too. There were 5-6 reports by the end of the day which wasnt handled. Today's reports are not handled yet.

Coming to notes, the members do not get WL directly for small issues. If there is comparison posts or something similar with issue of less intensity, they get 1 or 2 WPM unless it is mentioned otherwise in the forum. Even if the member gets a wpm, then WL, there is no way the forum members will get to know it. Necessary action is always taken. If you have questions about any specific post, you can always PM one of the DT and get it clarified. We cannot disclose what action is taken, but we can always tell you if the post is against rules or not.

Regarding bringing in fights from other social networking sites, just bringing in fights/posts is not allowed but if its an article from other website, it is allowed.

It was never mentioned anywhere to not report. Unnecessary abusing of report button is against rule and it was mentioned in the forum. It is okay if it is just 5-6 reports. its 50+ reports every other day and most of them are reported for simply criticising the character.

This is not bashing : " xyz character is a cheater, he only wants to fulfil his sexual needs" whereas

this is bashing and objectifying : " xyz should have s*x with moti-roti"

Coming to AT getting closed. This is what is followed:

• 1st Violation: Warning Note

• 2nd Violation: Another Warning Note
• 3rd: Another Warning Note
• 4th: Close the AT for 24 hrs (1 day)
• 5th: Close e AT for 72 hrs (3 days)
• 6th: Close the AT for one week (7 days)
• 7th: Shut down AT forever

so hence the AT was not closed after the second warning.

Coming to you having to handle the newbies, kindly report and if some post are still in the forum after 3-4 days, you can PM us. If you are advising newbies about rules, it would only come under moral policing and it would only result in more fights in the forum.

It's okay to have disagreements, which is why you can always PM us and question us. We are humans too and we might miss out somethings but if you PM us, it will be cleared whether it is against rules or not.

Coming to posting here, I request you to move the discussion to PM. if you feel I need to address something, you can PM me. If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can always PM *shruti*/Vijay.

We will soon be reworking on the PM section of our website so that most of the concerns are addressed. Including segregation of PMs / Better search / Improved storage etc. Will come back to the members for suggestions and feedback.

I checked the said forum.

Yes the member has been inactive on the forum. However he/she is still getting reactions on her past posts even today and which is getting counted. I have still asked my Tech team to investigate further.
