sorry yes I do understand what you meant... yes I suppose they do sign contracts where they can’t leave on their own until a certain time period but the production house does have the power to stop using them when they deem necessary and they will compensate them financially for that loss.. the production houses will always write in a clause to save themselves,,..e.g., I’m thinking of the actor who played the male kinnar..I’m sure he didnt take the show for 3 episodes yet his character was suddenly exited..probably as they had to change the story quickly.. And the actresses who play heers aunts..they barely get any dialogue but have to be shown...I suppose until, they get a better show or role they won’t consider leaving as it’s also the income that’s involved,,.But I find this in a lot of itv shows...e.g. in yeh rishta Kya kehelata hai we used to refer to the supporting cast as furniture..as they just need to be present in the scenes but never get any dialogue ..as all the dialogue goes to the leads..yet these actors stay on for years....but these actors have always done side roles.. I really feel for Simba who, signed on as the male lead but has been sidelined so much recently...this is definitely not what he had expected I’m sure...I’ve never seen an itv show where the male lead has been sidelined like Simba has these past few months...🤦🏻♀️
Hey, it's ok, no need to apologize 😊. The point is that even if it's about Virat, Heer, Soham, Dr Akshay, Shanno, the male kinnar... overall, the way they are keep sidling/giving up on their characters/actors and the rate at which they are doing it gives me bad vibes. As a spectator it made uncomfortable as it is so oblivious that they are ready to sacrifice everyone just to keep the show going on. Shakti is just a money making machine for them right now and nothing more... just as Shalini correctly said. Apart from money, nothing else matter to them, neither the emotions of their viewers, and neither the feelings of their actors. I think not just Simba, but all the actors who had made an entry recently came in with great hopes, and look at what they have done to them. They are not even giving them proper time to develop their track so that the public adjust to their story, if in 1-2 weeks the ratings don't rise, they change the track and start sidelining them to the point of making them disappear completely.
