True but still highly uneccessary at this time because their TRPs were decent for the slot and stable. On top of that since they wouldn't be affected by IPL due to their early time slot, this random yet typical change in the story was not required. Maybe they would have gained new viewers anyways if people want to kickback and get their daily dose of ITV soap before a game.
