Drabble #5

"Shaurya what are you doing? Get off of me", Anokhi slapped Shaurya's arm but he didn't move. He was sitting on her lap, his arms around her shoulders while his mouth left wet kisses on her neck. She felt a sweet mix of exhilaration and fear. She didn't want him to stop but was scared if someone walked in on them since he didn't lock the door earlier. Frustration mounted inside her, "Shaurya get up now. You didn't close the door! What if someone sees us together? You seriously have no shame left."

Anokhi pushed him aside and marched towards the door, attempting to leave. Shaurya caught on her arm and pushed her against the door, locking it above her. He clouded her senses and she couldn't think straight. All she could think was that this man should be illegal. He know what effect he had on her, his smug smirk telling her so. She wanted to wipe that smirk off his face, to show she wasn't affected.

Atleast that much.

He smirked again and she swore he could read her thoughts. She couldn't help but blush. She sighed, it was embarrassing her just how much she wanted him. She just craved him. His cocky smile, his touch, the way he got jealous, she couldn't get enough of him.

Shaurya snaked his arm around her waist, his deliberate gaze making her heart skip, "Say it."

"Say what?"

"Whatever you're thinking Anokhi. You need to voice out what you want. I mean I should get some feedback on skills na", he said cheekily. She couldn't help but roll her eyes.

He's so extra

"I'm not that special Anokhi. But on a serious note, I know you grew up in a conservative environment. It was frowned upon to voice out your thoughts let alone your wants. But it's important to say it all. You shouldn't feel any shame. It's completely normal. People have needs and wants and it's okay. No big deal. What you're feeling is completely normal. I'm your partner and you shouldn't feel embarrassed to tell me when you want it and however you want it. Okay?", he stroked her cheek in reassurance.

Anokhi didn't know how to react to it. All she knew is that her heart melted. She never knew she would find someone who'd understand her inhibitions like this. The way he was helping her through this, knowing how she felt uneasy voicing out a few things just showed how much of a keeper he is. Anokhi never believed in luck but it it were true, she was incredibly lucky to have him. He wiggled his eyebrows in confusion. Overwhelmed with emotions, she couldn't help but entwine his lips with hers, their tongues duelling in passion.

He couldn't but smile when she pushed him against the wall, her lips still on his. He loves it when she's assertive, when she asks for what she wants. She tilted her head to deepen the kiss and he couldn't help but gasp. Before he could respond in kind, she wiggled out of his grasp and opened the door.

" It's 2 already. Aren't we getting late for the class...sir?", Anokhi smirked at him in self assurance, just like he does all the time.

And that was the first time Shaurya Sabherwal blushed.

A/N : This is the first time I wrote on something very real, very relatable : intimacy issues.

We all have grown up in conservative settings so this might come up a lot of times. Even asking something for oneself, even mundane things is something which many of us are hesitant about, only and only because it was viewed as selfish in the environment we grew up in.

I would to say, we need to ask for what we want and not feel ashamed about it. Living for oneself isn't wrong. It's being human.

I really liked the concept

This is serious like women are not really able to voice what they actually want and feel embarrassed in front of their partners. It was beautifully written i loved it
