Sure😉.. Bound by honor and sweet temptation by Cora Reilly and the darkest temptation (made 3) by Danielle Lori. Even the first book sweet oblivion fits this troupe.
I have read Cora Reilly's Born in Blood chronicles. Even though I wasn't a fan of Bound by Honor, I really liked Book 2.
@all: When did you’ll start logging books onto Goodreads?
I think I started using Goodreads almost 5 years ago so the number of books I have read are a lot more. I also entered some of the books like Harry Potter that I read before I had a Goodreads account.
There is a website called Storygraph that can recommend books according to what you would like to read at a particular time. It doesn’t have an app version as yet.
I made an account in 2018. I had no one in my real life apart from my best friend to talk books about. 😆 I started logging all the books I read before and I still do. It's around 150 now.
@bold: I've heard about some of these. Woman in Cabin 10 seems to be very popular. Would you recommend any of these?
I gave two stars for The Woman in Cabin 10. 😳 But, like Anam said, it's predictable but many have enjoyed it so you may too. Ruth Ware 's concepts are cool but the execution gets on my nerves.
@Anam: Glad you liked The Woman in the Window. I have been wanting to read that.
Dont worry. Next month’s book is a pacy read and May’s pick is a relatively short book.
Yay thank you❤️

Yeah... I have read better Mafia books too. Her books are very cliche

Not having anyone in real life to talk about books is a serious problem for me too. That's the reason I was so excited about this book club.
@bold: That's so cool!
Hey Shanam, you read The Picture of Dorian Grey a while back and said it was really good. Can you tell me which version it was. Was it abridged? Because I started reading it and 30 pages in, I'm finding it extremely tedious. Especially Harry's character is so annoying. He just goes on and on.
I found another version that's just 50-something pages and is abridged. It's way better than the full thing. Which one did you read?
5/5
I don't remember the last time I flew through a book. Vicious is fast-paced & intriguing and it's impossible to stop thinking about Victor, Eli and what went wrong.
The slump I was in neither allowed me to enjoy reading nor get completely engrossed in a book for a long time. V.E Schwab eases the reader into the story effortlessly. I had started reading one late evening and I didn't even realize when an hour had passed. This book deals with the past and the present and it does it brilliantly. Usually, I am always more interested in one than the other but here, she gave the right amount of intrigue to keep me excited to read both timelines.
Not just Victor and Eli, the side characters were fleshed out perfectly too. Everyone had purposeful intentions which made it possible for me to understand them. Victor is evil but I love him. 🥰
I felt a bit let down when the face off felt too short since the plot was building up to it since page 1 but the ending was perfect and I think the complaint feels like me nitpicking so I am just letting it go.
But, I must say I am very apprehensive about the sequel.

I have read both for better understanding. It was a difficult book to read. It will need more than one read to fully understand it tbh. That's why it took me a long time to finish it which usually is not my style.
Yes, harry is one philosophical, evil dude. The dialogues are long. I hate chapter 11 (I think). Overall I loved the book. I advise you to read few pages at a time. 250 pages seem average but it is really overwhelming.
