Pehle Haq ki Ladaai

Another engaging episode today, folks😆....I tune in everyday thinking ki how will they manage to hold our interest but they seem to usually find a way and add some twist or the other that still makes you think, "ab aage kya"😆

In Adi-Malini's case, the distances continue to grow.....he now doesn't even want to sit in the chair ADJACENT to her on the dining table😆....full on social distancing practice kar raha hai 6 feet apart😆.....and then Nishant is used as a prop to begin a debate on marriage and what kind of partner is the right partner😆. I quite liked this scene cuz it drew that clear contrast in Adi and Malini's thinking about what makes the right partner. Malini giving analogies that a car needs all 4 wheels to be similar for it to run smoothly😆....so partners being simliar to each other is the right call.....lol woh aaina hote hain. Adi counters by saying that an aaina/mirror only shows you the truth you want to see....but what you need in life is someone willing to challenge your soch and show you the truth even if you aren't ready to face it. Haha this scene was lovely cuz you could tell that Adi was talking entirely about his and Imlie's journey in their marriage as partners....the way he was talking about how initial fights and disagreements help you understand each other better.....and then ofcourse the cherry on the icing...."Rishte logic se nahin vishwaas se chalte hain"😆. Babusahib ko apni jhalli ki ek ek baat yaad hai, inke mann mein ghar kar gayi hai.....lol and he instantly ducked away to go call Imlie right then.

On the Imlie side of things, Prakash has been conveniently made a secret keeper so that he can provide logistical support for her in Delhi.....lol though at him still jumping first chance that he could to propose marriage to Imlie😆.....asking her to leave Adi behind since she can't even wear his naam ka sindoor in the city and put on Prakash ka sindoor instead🤔😆......anyways, Imliya shut that down nicely by telling him she can never love him so she can't marry him.....also that she only considers Adi her husband.....lol. She also earlier told him that Adi loves her but Prakash is skeptical of that to say the least since biwi#2 Malini ke baare mein pata chal gaya😆

Babusahib ke theek ek din baad, Imliya bhi pahunch gayi Dilli unke peechhe peechhe😆....and Babusahib bhi pahunch gaye bus stop with a plate of jalebis for his wifey dearest😆. I guess Mithi put the idea in his head or he himself has been yearning for Imlie so much that he felt the need to think she only came to see him and couldn't stay back even one day without him😆.....but Imliya burst that bubble quick by saying she came for her college admissions😆.....and once again told him to leave.....lol bechara.

ROFL@ round two of the tashan between Babusahib and Pari....kya BAJAYA aaj Adi ne us Pari ko👏👏😆.....Dil khush kar diya, Babusahib....iske liye aapko meri taraf se definitely ek medal😆. This was next level territorial mode from Adi today😆......his hackles instantly got raised when Pari stated that he will take responsibility for Imlie😆.....aur aaj toh sab khulle aam baat hogayi inke beech as Adi pointed out that I know you want me to leave so you can take my place😆....aur phir bol diya ki pati-patni ke beech ki baat hai, tum sirf dost ho🤣.

LMAO though at the moment when Pari returned fire by being like KAUNSI patni? Imlie ya Malini? 😆.....Adi ke chehre ka jo rang udaa tab🤣.....but man, some SUPERB acting from GM....the way Adi turned to look at Imlie in shock and she assures him that she didn't reveal the truth to Pari....toh Adi recovers after a beat and forges on...."Tumhein baat der se samajh aati hai toh theek se samjhaa dete hain🤣.....Imlie humaari patni hai aur hum pe pehla haq uska hai.....uske jeevansaathi HUM hain aur HUMESHA rahenge"😆.....Haha aaj phir se sixer maar diya Babusahib ne.....Imlie bas dekhti hi reh gayi😆.

What a point to end the epi.....and precap mein Badke Kaka ne dekh liya Imlie Adi ko bus stop pe.....lol ab unko bhi koi naya jhoot bolenge? 😆

But it did kind of feel like the fight for pehla haq began today in earnest in a sense.....cuz for the first time, Adi told someone other than himself or Imlie that she has first rights on him.....the circle is expanding ever so slowly....and it feels like that's the direction this is headed in....Adi had to face a third person learning the truth today and questioning him about which wife he's talking about so he stood strong in declaring it's Imlie who has first rights.

What a zabardast episode once again

First of all babusahib ke liye halwa moti roti on a big platter from me for bajaooing that tucha so awesomely and doing dhoidh ka dhoodh oaani ka paani.. kya mast usse aukaat dikhayi ke dost jo dost rahi...chance pe number dial karne Matt Lago hum jaante hain tumhare iraade. Best was all that point to point in front of imlie..👏🥳 a d that she didn't interfered she let him bajaao that tucha caz he was doing all this out of motive to haasil karo imlie..

Lol we are supposed to feel for this and call hi hero he is such a bada kameena ke ek sec main put marriage offer .. and iski achaai ko seriously le koii.. sorry no sympathy only👞 from me for this nikaama prakasb and am so glad adi Sunaooed him zabardast sa and cleared for once and all ke imlie uski biwi hai yeh unke beech ka maamla hai and his place is only of a dost

It was adorable how he showed up instantly with samosa jalebi for his biwi aww Lol we got the closure the jalebi and samosa that started this whole thing in motion with him stopping to buy them getting kidnapped and going away from imlie bringing them back together in some ways.. him bringing them for her itne sweetly and oh so emotional being unki biwi unke bina ek din nahi reh paayi and he missed her so much giving safaai of how he called her but she never picked caz uska mann bhi nahi lag raha tha 🤗 adorable adorable scene the miyan biwi feel so on point and then her saying ke woh school ke liye aayi and his how will you afford honey.. I I here for ya to be your support aww

The other highlight was the breakfast table scene.. what is the major takeaway of it is for the first time adi didn't stop midway once malini went against him and chup karke suna.. he was convinced on his point and he kept putting the counter points and they were all very valid and too the point ke apne mirror image se shaadi karke ka kya stale ho jaoge that will never make you experience new things challenge you or tell you your faults lies they should.. a shaadi should enhance you as a person and not put a stop at your growth.. brilliantly done and put forth.. malini didi ki toh seeti ghum hi gayi iss sab Se but adi sunane ke mood main nahi tha

Then his sweet si phonecall to amma aww they are adorable Amma itne sweetly telling him ke imlie toh aapke peeche hi nikal gayi

Imlie bechari kid har phase gayinhai..I seriously felt terrible ke isko iss thche ko secret keeper bananpada who has no respect for her feelings or her word imlie ke itne saaf bolne ke baad bhi ke uske babusahib usse prem karte hain and she is well aware of the situation koi jhoot nahi bola gaya usse he is not able to respect and apne proposal rakh raha hai glad the girl shit him but ek thappad toh banta tha and dosti todna bhi imlie uss maamle main you disappointed me

Edit: I hope the chapter of Prakash invoking his love for Imlie closes this week. He acts better than the guy playing Nishant but he crossed a line today. Imlie’s restraint in not kheechke maaroing a thappad was very very commendable. Pity at his state overtook her at the right moment

+1....I guess they are still trying to pitch him as "supportive friend" but him straight up proposing marriage to Imlie like that was really pathetic to watch🤔. Especially the way he didn't even wait a second before asking her to dump Adi and marry him. That matlabiness is too ughh even if he otherwise tries to help Imlie with her college stuff.

I'm hoping they phase out Prakash for a bit after this cuz he serves no purpose if he isn't going to reveal the secret. Is he just here so that Adi can bajaao him? 😆.....well ok that can still be achieved without trying to show him as some supposed "genuine friend" to Imlie.....har do minute Imlie ko propose kar raha hai.....also it's lame if they think this makes him another SK pining for Mithi.....this is all a forced attempt once again to equate Adi with Dev.....ughh.

A sixer by BS today, one after the other. The chasm is widening slowly between AM and Adi can't even bear to be in the vicinity of Malini. Social distancing full on at the breakfast, where we see the family eat together, a rare scene. The T's are a largely silent group, absorbing the exchange of words between AM and Nishant. Looks like they haven't fully forgiven Adi for his lies and are giving the silent treatment. He is so silent and withdrawn and no one is bothered to ask him why he is withdrawn.

We have Malini as the bubbly bahu who questions Nishant and how like minded people get on fabulously, like the wheels of a car, the ride is smooth, no bumps. The mirror reflects the truth, only we have to acknowledge the truth, it is straight in front of us. It lies in the eyes of the beholder, what truth one wants to see. Adi stating that rishtey logic pe nahin, vishwaas pe chalti hai... Imlie's words have a deep impact and are imprinted in his mind. Runs off to call Imlie as he could barely utter a word the previous night.

Cute bidaai by Mithi and ofc the ever present leech Pari is stuck like a burr on Imlie's side, accompanying her to Dilli after wrangling the truth of her marriage from her. He did shed tears when he heard of Imlie's tale. He is NOT to be trusted, a chameleon that changes its colors based on the surroundings. He did at the first opportunity at the bus stop - cut Adi's call and proposed to Imlie, Be Mine... Let us Marry...forget about Adi...🤣 Imlie did not bajao him here, was trying to turn him down gently, that she will never love him, there is no place other than Adi in her life, in her mind. SHOCK and then the phone rings... at the same time. BS is so bechaain and mind works quickly, calls MITHi and talks to her. Wah wah.. did not want to hang up too... waited on the phone.. got the news that Imlie is returning to the city. Dil kush hua....

Could see what a day's difference & separation from Imlie has made in Aditya, he looks so drawn, eyes are red, he is not himself.. the change in body language is so stark.. how come no one can see that change in Adi.

The bus stop scene was a master class - Pari at the receiving end of BS's anger and stark words - Imlie is mine and my pehla haq is mine. He is desperate to hear if Imlie missed him as much as he did.. which is why she returned a day after him... GM was too good today. I can watch the bus stop scene in a loop. Imlie pls hamarri takar dekho... the reinforcement that she missed him as much as he does and did... Imlie stepping back.. away... dard games are on...

In the earlier thread (omg that was a runaway train - so much to catch up on) Shvika dard games.. uff..

Re validation: word. It ties in so well with his vulnerability where she is concerned. And this is just the beginning. Both of them know what the other feels but jab tak bol nahin lete ek dusre se, this will not end.

On that breakfast table convo - I did not think he would talk so openly in contradiction to Malini. But that was eye-opening too. There is no place for her in his life anymore. He does not even want to entertain it if he can.
