But Jenny's aura and charm is such that not only does she headline those shows, but despite her character's craziness, people actually root for Maya. It's amazing. I'm in awe.

You are so right and I felt this way especially in season two. I mean she killed rishi but I was still felt for her and in my head for some reason justifying what she did. When let’s be honest there was no justification - he was an innocent in all of this. And the way she would switch from the Maya that was in love to the Maya that would kill. She is quite petite but her screen presence is just WOAH

Yeah I only watched S2, but after Rishi's death I was torn - a part of me was like, she has to suffer for this (poor kid) and the other part was still rooting for her to come out the winner. Ofc if the show had continued to its proper end, the only "justified" ending would have been Maya being on her own. How can you forgive your wife the murder of your innocent brother? Like, even if MJ and the rest deserved it, Rishi did not. So a part of me knew it would have to be an ending where Maya wins the war, but loses everything else.

Jenny's voice is so damn sultry as Maya, I think that adds a lot to her screen presence. I sometimes cannot believe it's the same girl who played whiny Sneha and Ridhimma version-whatever...

Maya was and somehow still is the perfect definition of what a grey role should be. When i used to watch the show, every second i rooted for her and the moment i shut the laptop..i would all in my head ki you're justifying a killer Dhairya!!!

The way she would switch from normal to psycho mode was brilliant. I remember a specific scene wherein she's talkking to her mil, arjun's mom. And if you didn't know the context the you'd think ki chal kya rha hai...normally baat kr rhi hai aur ye lady aise darr rhi hai!!!

It was after maya she became one of my favs!!

She's a phenomenal actress dude. I mean you hear her voice as sweet innocent kumud and then you see her a maya. It's a shock.

Honestly I miss her on screen. Code M was okay, and I guess S2 is coming soon, but I want her in something like Beyhadh again...even if not the same franchise, but just that kind of character.

Oh, aaaages ago I saw an interview of hers that I loved; I'll see if I can find it again bc she's so damn cute in it.
