I totally agree, he would never want sympathy or someone's pity because he is not a man to be pitied. He is just someone who needs to be understood and loved for who he is. And it will definitely be an uphill battle because at the layers come off, the more defensive he will get because the more dangerous it will be for him. But if she is able to power through and actually see the hurt underneath all the ugliness, she will truly get a man that is so unequivocally devoted to her. Someone who has been abandoned by those who he loves would never turn around and do that to someone else. Because he knows what that feels like. I honestly never forget that moment when we all saw his pain for the first time when he witnessed the mother-son duo. He was so broken in that moment and yet all he could do was push it down and put up the mask of being okay the next day. I really need him to find a person he feels safe enough to be vulernable around, someone who won't judge him or leave him if he opens his heart to them!

Giving us a chance for better tries

we mend the cracks for fine

laughing at time

and telling it that, 'Oh boy you aged like a fine vine'
