That is why he is restless because he knows that he can't hold a candle to Shaurya. That's why he was making all those cryptic dialogues about losing his humsafar, about route and destination. He knows that Shaurya and Anokhi's equation is far better than his will ever be with her and so he knows he's losing out already. Otherwise what kinda man takes credit for saving someone when the man that actually did is outside and has literally fallen unconscious as a result of trying to save her!!
