Things are pretty bad in Mumbai...Every other TV/film person is catching covid and the curve is worse than the worst peak last year in Mumbai, so a strict lockdown is anticipated.

I think your analysis about Anokhi is apt and I have same thoughts.. I am surprised she said she has no friend where Reema and Maya were always by her side and if she considers ACP her friend... Let's credit him for that... Plus her sudden favorite person being Shaurya out of all those who has been by her side (Shaurya has too but he has been shown to balance good side and bad side. While rest of them have always been tipped only on good side).

Now, Shaurya.... I think he does realize commenting on character is wrong and specially when he is attracted to her! But so many striking things include her refusing 'favour' from Shaurya would have triggered it. He is no one to blame ACP either for now (no matter how annoyed I am at him) but Shaurya's main aim was to just stop Anokhi and I felt his sorry to be genuine and out of guilt. We all know she would return to SIEC for now question is when? She might go to Kapurthala for now but assure him to return soon.. Let's see.

Shaan is definitely planning something big and MAYBE... Anokhi is supporting him? His character has developed the most since the show started thanks to anokhi and Astha's presence.

Exactly. I would have loved that.

I think they didn't want a serious and genuine guide. They probably just wanted someone voicing the fandom's thoughts to keep the fans on social media happy and excited, and who better than Kanchan who is younger and has not much character graph so far except showing so much interest in Shaan-Aastha's relationship.

I am a part of the fandom too and I don't like this. She can tone it down a bit and I may cut her character some slacks.

I found her excitement about Shaan-Aastha also a little strange in the beginning. Not having met them she was always shipping them too...May be Kanchan is like that? May be she has a shipper heart 🤣

She was new to the family. Everyone in the family was serious and conservative to her bubbly and modern nature. And let's admit none of the Saberwal couples except Shaan-Aastha truly love each other. When her MIL told her about a couple in their family who were so much in love, she couldn't help but be interested. Shaurya, being their son, becomes a part of the tragic story.

You might be right. She has a shipper's heart. Once again, I would like if she tones it down

Oh, I didn't think about Reema. Maybe she considers him just a classmate? It's not nice of her. Reema has always stood up for her albeit late. When Shaurya asked her to excuse him and Anokhi, she looked at Anokhi for assurance. She cares for Anokhi. How come she doesn't consider Reema a friend? Also ACP. She told Vineet is her friend. Suddenly she has no friends in this city!

For once I thought he is too stressed out, busy in convincing Anokhi that he can't afford to be jealous at the moment. Again, it's so unlike his character. I would count it as a good sign. If the anger issues aren't tempered down, we can't ship the couple.

It was highly stupid for her to say she had no friends.. And i think writers are really drunk 🤪 but to be honest, this is DJs... They have always been this way... So okay fine...

Now, I wonder if Shaurya would continue to be this maniac once Anokhi is back? Or will he get back to normal self and limiting this 100 watts of smile and just going around her? If it's time for Anokhi to develop feelings... I literally do NOT want any jealousy track... Please... I am already fed up of it..i want to see a genuine conversation about Shaurya's break up... Plus just send him to Patiala.. She will start being more sure about her feelings then... But jealousy would ruin alot for me. I don't want anyone jealous again.. Bass..

I want Anokhi to be involved in his plan.

How much slack exactly should we cut her? I am not judging her just because she is unable to gauge Shivaay's feelings. There are many things about her that I found inconsistent. To recall things from today's episode:

1. Shaurya literally jumped on the car's bonnet right in front of her eyes. He could have been injured/died. Anyone would panic. but Aastha didn't say a thing.

2. She didn't try to talk to him at the last minute. A mother, no matter how disrespectful the son is, won't miss the opportunity to talk to her son when they are separating (seprating in the sense of not being in the same city)

3. He knows Shaurya insulted Anokhi. But then neither she scolded him nor she tried to make him understand. She just said Take care of yourself and then let Anokhi go with Shaurya when they were in dhaba crediting him for being a good person.

These were all the inconsistencies in today's episode. If we look at the show as a whole, we would find many more. The biggest slack we cut her character was the fact that she left Shaurya with the Saberwals knowing how they are. I can say that if Shaurya was brought up Aastha, he won't have disrespected Anokhi like that.

I don't get Astha either. I feel like makers are unable to decide how to strong and unconventional to make her before fandom and aunties get judgemental. I noticed all the inconsistencies you mentioned above and more. I found it odd that she told Ahir- Shaurya achcha aadmi hai instead of mera beta achcha insaan hai.

The best way to spin her story is she tried to connect with Shaurya when she left but Devi ran interference. With time she made peace with situation and moved on. She purposely cut ties with Sabherwals to the point of not having any contact because she had no reason to create confusion or complicate their lives given Devi was not willing to let Shaurya go and Shaan was never going to man up. She became a passionate teacher and her students became her family or placeholder for her family. Now that she has been thrust back into those relationships, she sees that nothing has changed. Devi is still holding onto Shaurya, Shaurya now hates her and Shaan is still a softie incapable of taking a strong decision. She is still primary caretaker of her parents. She knows Shaurya resents her and blames her and she regrets that. Her regret and awkwardness in trying to rebuilt a forgotten relationship while steering clear of toxic Sabherwals and Shaurya's anger makes it impossible for her to forge the relationship. She does not know how to be the mother that he wants or where she fits in so she is keeping herself out of drama with a heavy heart.

Jealousy is such a tried and tested formula in ITV. I want something new but I don't think we will get what we want. Anokhi will be jealous of Shagun

I want Anokhi to be involved in his plan.

Ohh god...i hope it is not a complete lockdown....common people will be helpless without work...if they are forced to sit at home...no income

i found it entertaining just....when i treat it just as a fiction ... i find every curve...sudden growth all fine 😆😆

and i should tell u...human mind works more wierdly than any fantasy or fiction...so i find sudden rush of all feelings just ok...😁

Frankly I thought Kanchan mauke pe chauka laga rahi thi. Here is what I think she sees

Shaurya is a very closed and somewhat angsty individual but he has a good heart and he has tried to support her in his own way in limited capacity in past. He is also the son of her favorite in laws - Shaan and Astha. She knows enough from Gayatri to know that Shaurya is and has been manipulated by Tej and Devi. Shaurya is also the only person who has the capability to change anything in Sabherwals and can be very strong when chooses to.

He is changing for better and the harbringer of that change is Anokhi who also happens to be very close to Astha and Shaan. The girl sounds strong, bubbly and focussed essentially everything Sabherwals dislike

Kanchan is bored and reduced to playing maid to this regressive and controlling family. She has no friends her age and she can only talk to her MIL who is in no better position than her.

If she wants something to change in Sabherwals and build relationship within Sabherwals beyond Gayatri and have a sweet revenge on evil five (Tejilok), this is the way to go. Besides it is always fun to play cupid at her age more so when you have someone like Shaurya in the mix and he seems to be hesitatingly reach out for help. She probably can't wait to see how this plays out and how it will irk Devi.

So far they have denied such a lockdown but the situation is serious and anything may happen.
