I agree... Transparency is required. That is the first step towards a strong relationship like you said. But when one of the two in a relationship is a child, would you want to worry him/her? You will hesitate. When we love someone we try to keep them out of any pain which is good and bad... these two like you said, have to learn that transparency is the key. ❤️
