The thing is, she kept on saying “I didn’t even know I’ll get in cambridge” she was not confident in her abilities and shaurya def didn’t help when he told her - you didn’t even tell me
This guy is controlling; he wants the other half to share each and everything abt their relationship and get “his permission” so I think they showed a stark contrast of a very smart girl who relied on Shaurya to accept her decisions vs anokhi who will not take anything hands down bc neither will she for or need “permission”
It didn’t surprise me bc there are so many women out there who despite being so accomplished are surrounded by men or relationships where their decisions have to “be allowed” to be fulfilled
I very much agree to this.
While it cant be denied that Shaurya is controlling, but Shagun allowed herself to be controlled as well (which is realistic, I guess, I've seen girls around me in situations like that!). She was okay with Shaurya saying that he "allowed" her to work, she was okay with being only a guest lecturer for his sake. Her love had blinded her so much that she could not take a stand for herself for the longest time. I guess that's how Anokhi is going to be in stark contrast with her.
And I think, I'll understand if Shagun turns bitter when ShaKhi happens. She has devoted so many years to him, and seeing him doing a 180° for Anokhi will leave a bitter taste.
I was watching the episode again..the way he open the door of committee room same way he opened the door when anokhi was locked in the classroom with tashan

Here Anokhi is against Vineet Jiju "allowing" Babli di to go somewhere on her own. She is going to break his attitude big time.
Also, did Shagun really agree to work as a guest lecturer? If yes, why did Shaurya break the engagement. My memory is running slow.
