u r right,Channel does'nt matter in case of remakes.KKB is remade on Asianet which is connected to star.KDB is remade on surya which is connected to sony n colors.

KDB malayalam remake was started last yr after ZEE mal was launched.Surya show Swantham Sujatha is also inspired by tamil show bhagyalakshmi.

And kdb ke remake ke time zee was very new in market so de diye rights but iske alawa mujhe aise jada examples nhi pata jisme network ka established GEC hoke bhi network apne hit concept ka rights kisi dusre network ko diya ho
