Day 9: Truth prevails:

Kabir opened his eyes and looked around tensed only to see dark everywhere. He shivered as soon as he remembered what happened some hours ago. He was on the brink of death. If he remain here for some more time then he's sure Vansh will kill him. He stiffened as he shook his head in a no. No!! Vansh is not going to kill him, he's making sure that Kabir kill himself.

Just because Vansh committed suicide because of Kabir, so he wants Kabir to commit suicide too. He got up from the bed and took a deep breath. He has to leave.

Kabir opened his room's door and looked around only to relax somewhat. Everyone is asleep, this is the right time to sneak away. He put some of his clothes in his backpack and came out of his room. He would come back when the situation is under control, and will be in contact with his Mom. Now this is the only way to tackle this situation.

He came downstairs almost running but all of a sudden tripped on the carpet and fell down.

Oops!! Going somewhere, half-bro??

Kabir sucked in a breath as he heard Vansh's voice just seconds before the hall lit up and he saw Vansh sitting on the couch in front of him with a wicked smirk. Damn it to hell!!

M.....Main kahin nahi ja raha hu Vansh.

He got up from the floor tensed as Vansh came towards him with a raised eyebrow while he looked at Kabir's backpack.

To kya adhi raat to bag leke weight lifting karne nikle ho Kabir??

Kabir flinched at Vansh's sarcastic tone and tried to smile at him but it feels as if he's stuck right now. He can't even move a muscle while Vansh got up from the couch and came towards him with a blank look. Honestly, Kabir preferred his angry face rather than this poker face. To say he's scared would be an understatement. He's downright terrified right now.

Wo....wo main.......main kuch dino ke liye vacation pe jana chahta hoon, yaha ghutan si hoti hai.

Kabir said trying to appear calm but he knows he failed when he saw Vansh's amused expressions. God knows what's going on in his mind.

Theek hai Kabir. Tum vacation enjoy karo. I won't stop you. But phone karte rehna, warna Mom faaltu me pareshaan ho jayengi.

Kabir looked at Vansh startled as soon as he heard him. What the hell is going on?? Vansh is allowing him to leave?? He turned towards the door frowning but stopped in his tracks as he saw his mother standing in front of the door. Damn!!

Kabir!! Kaha ja rahe ho??

He took a deep breath and looked towards his mom. Even though he doesn't want Vansh to know where he is but he has to tell his Mom. He moved closed to his Mom and bends toward her.

Main Goa ja raha hu Mom. Kuch dino ke liye, thoda fresh ho jayega mind. And please don't contact me. I want to stay alone.

He whispered and saw his mom looking at him with wide eyes. He could see panic in her eyes but then he sighed nodding at him in yes. He took a deep breath and came out of VR Mansion. Finally!! he's free. And now he could think about how he'll solve this matter of Vansh's ghost.

Anupriya looked at Vansh almost panicked as soon as Kabir left the mansion. She doesn't trust Kabir to stay sane. He has been behaving weird, too weird.

Vansh!! Please kuch karo.

She pleaded and saw Vansh smiling at her. She shivered at the look he gave her but then blinked her eyes confused. Why does she feel so scared?? Why does it feel that there's something weird going on??

Don't worry Mom. Kabir ki guarantee main leta hu. Main uska poora khayal rakhunga, usey kuch nahi hoga. I promise.

Anupriya sighed finally feeling relaxed and moved towards her room. She frowned as she realized that she didn't thank Vansh. She turned around to thank him only to stand still, as there's no one in the hall. How the hell is it even possible??

If someone has to leave from hall then they had to pass through where she's standing. Where did he go?? Anupriya gulped and turned around only to stumble back as she saw Vansh standing in front of her. How the hell is this possible??

She blinked her eyes in shock as she tried to register what just happened.

V......Vansh??

She saw him shaking his head and she took a deep breath trying to control her heart beats.

Of course main hi hu Mom, koi aur yaha tha hi kab??

She nodded and he turned around to go upstairs. She continued to look at him till he turned towards the corridor of his room. Then only she moved towards her room. For the first time in her life, she felt such a strong fear, that too from Vansh, the boy she brought up.

She shook her head and entered her room tensed. At least her son will be safe.

Riddhima looked up as soon as she saw Vihaan entering the room and her heart dropped as soon as he latched the door and pulled all the curtains. Is this Vansh?? Or Vihaan??

She flinched back as he turned around but blinked in shock as he started laughing like a mad man. What the hell!!

Yaar Riddhima, tumhe AP ki shakal dekhni chahiye thi. Aisa lag raha tha usne bhoot dekh liya ho.

Riddhima frowned as Vihaan sat on the couch grinning like an idiot. Okay!! What the hell is he even talking about?? When he left the secret room, it was Vansh, and now he's Vihaan??

Tum kehna kya chahte ho??

She asked and saw him looking at her amused.

Matlab jab main room me enter ho raha tha wo apne room ki taraf ja rahi thi aur baar baar meri taraf darr se dekh rahi thi. But aisa kya hua hoga ki vo itna dari hui thi??

Riddhima shrugged as soon as Vihaan asked her the question. AP and Kabir could even go to hell if they want. She has more pressing matters in hand. Like Vansh, and his threat. He wants to break her and even though she says that he can't break her more than this, but the thing is, he could. She has always been proud of the fact that she only belonged to Vansh, and this is the same thing he wants to snatch away from her.

Riddhima laid down on the bed but all of a sudden she smelled something weird. She started coughing badly, it felt as if someone burned red chillies. She looked around in panic and saw Vihaan sitting on the bed in front of her. She tried to breathe properly but it's getting difficult. She took the glass of water from Vihaan's hand as he ran to open the window. She drank the whole glass of water as she finally felt somewhat calm.

She took a deep breath as she felt the cold night air on her face and smiled slightly. She blinked her eyes confused as everything started getting blur in front of her eyes. What's going on??

Riddhima!!

She turned around startled as she felt Vihaan's voice very close to her and stiffened as he wound his arms around her waist.

Vihaan chhodo, kya kar rahe ho tum?? Leave me!!

She tried to struggle but it feels as if she has no strength left in her body. What the hell happened to her?? She blinked her eyes in panic and finally able to see Vihaan's smirk as he looked at her. No!! She tried to move back scared, but he pulled her more to him.

She shivered in disgust as he pushed her down on the bed and hugged her snuggling into her hair. She wanted to shout, wanted to cry but her body is not even supporting her. She took a deep breath trying to move her hand as he started kissing her bare shoulders as she's wearing an off shoulder top.

This can't happen with her. She closed her eyes tightly as tears came out of her eyes.

Vansh!!

She whispered his name and felt the torture stop all of a sudden. She moved her eyes to look at Vihaan as he moved away from her as if he's struck. She finally took a deep breath but she's still disgusted by whatever just happened.

She looked at Vihaan panicked as he came close to her again but he just wiped her tears. She looked at him tensed as he remains poker face.

Sleep Riddhima. You need that.

She blinked in shock as he kissed her forehead and her eyes dropped down as she felt slightly drowsy. No!! NO, she wants to stay conscious, she wants to know what the hell just happened. But her eyes refused to budge as she slowly she started feeling numb.

Vihaan took a deep breath as he looked at Riddhima's lifeless form. He took a deep breath and moved towards the door to make sure that it's properly latched. He closed the window again and moved towards his secret room.

As soon as he entered the room his hand automatically moves toward the switch beside the door and the room lit up in seconds.

Vihaan stopped in front of the mirror and started setting his hair properly but stopped in his tracks and moved back startled as he saw the man in the mirror. This is not him. What the hell!! How's it possible??

Vansh??

He frowned as the man in the mirror smirked at him. He frowned looking at the man in the mirror.

Aur kaun hoga Vihaan?? Vansh hi hu.

Vihaan blinked his eyes in shock and moved back slightly scared. What the hell is Vansh doing here?? He's dead. He can't be here.

Tum mar chuke ho.

He said as a statement and saw him nodding his head in yes. Then how the hell is he here??

Main markar bhi nahi mara hu Vihaan.

Vihaan took a deep breath as he looked away from him. What does he mean by he's still alive?? He looked at the mirror again and saw Vansh smiling at him wickedly.

Kya hua?? Darr gaye??

Vihaan shook his head in a no, and shivered as he saw the deadly expressions in his face.

Meri biwi hai vo Vihaan, and I swear, agar aaj ke baad usey haath lagane ki koshish bhi ki, to maut bhi kam pad jayegi tumhare liye.

Vihaan shivered in fear as he saw his furious eyes. Its weird how he's getting scared from seeing anger in his own eyes.

M.....maine jaan bujh ke nahi kiya. I don't know mujhe kya ho gaya tha.

Vihaan told him almost in panic and saw him rolling his eyes with a slight smirk. Now what does this mean??

Uski saza main tay karunga Vihaan, tum usey koi nuksaan nahi pohonchaoge.

Vihaan nodded in yes looking at the mirror tensed as Vansh smiled at him wickedly. Oh god!! Vihaan never thought he would see something like this. But then he frowned as he remembered what Vansh just said.

Punishment?? Why would he punish Riddhima?? He frowned as he again looked in the mirror and saw Vansh raising his eyebrows at him.

Tum Riddhima ko saza kyu doge?? Wo already bohot bear kar chuki hai Vansh. She doesn't deserve this. And jo bhi kiya hai wo Anupriya ne kiya hai, uske bete ne kiya hai.

He asked and fliched back as he saw fury in Vansh's eyes. He is just trying to understand this man in front of him. Its not her fault. Its clear that Kabir used her.

Uski sabse badi galti thi Vihaan ki usne Vansh se humesha sab kuch chhupaya hai, aur itna sab hone ke baad bhi wo wahi galti dobara kar rahi hai. Usne ek ajnabee par mujhse jyada bharosa kiya, iss baar bhi.

Vihaan rolled his eyes as soon as he heard Vansh's words. What type of man is he?? Agreed!! Riddhima told him everything but it's not because she trusts him, it's because she wanted to vent out.

Agar tum aise hi behave karte ho, to I am not surprised ki Riddhima ki himmat hi nahi hoti tumhe kuch batane ki.

He saw Vansh rolling his eyes and he looked away with a frown. It's almost clear that Vansh is not going to listen to him.

Wo meri biwi hai Vihaan, tumse jyada jaanta hu usey main.

Vihaan saw Vansh glaring at him and shrugged nonchalantly. It's clear that Vansh doesn't know Riddhima. May be he doesn't even want to know??

Tum agar usey jaante, to ye bhi jaante ki vo tumse pagalo ki tarah mohobbat karti hai. Aur agar tumhare parivaar ki baat nahi hoti, to wo kabka apni jaan de chuki hoti.

He saw Vansh flinch in pain and realized that he had touched a wrong nerve. He moved back in shock as the mirror broke into pieces just beside his foot and took a deep breath looking down only to stand still in shock. His whole hand is covered in glass and blood as if he himself had punched the mirror.

He shook his head and laid down on the bed cleaning his hand with the antiseptic. Now he knows what's wrong with him and what's Riddhima hiding from him. Vansh's ghost is here. Wait!! What if Vansh was the one who scared kabir?? He realized now that Vansh is in his body. He uses his body, that's why sometimes he had no idea how he reaches at some place even though he never even thought about going there.

Vihaan shook his head amused, as he remembered how he felt sympathy for a man having so many enemies. But now he knows that this man is no man of principles. This man is not soft, this man is dangerous. And now as a ghost, the danger increased ten folds. He has to stay alert. He has to drop the idea of taking revenge in place of Vansh, cause clearly Vansh is doing the job himself, and now that he think about the looks on AP and Kabir's face, then he has to say, Vansh is doing a great job.

Vihaan closed his eyes trying to sleep after bandaging his hand. He'll talk to Riddhima next day. He just hopes she understands what he wants to say and he really hope Vansh loves Riddhima enough to forgive her.

This confrontation with Vansh actually scared him.
