Yeah I understand why you are a tad bit disappointed. I think you were expecting her to betray Asad somehow. Or both of them to feel betrayed by each other whereas right now it's only Asad doing that. 😂😂😂 But remember I told you then itself? I wanted her to be innocent. I think next season will be Zoya's perspective. If you have tried Dil Hi Toh Hai OTT, they have come up with 3-4 seasons now. And in one season, the hero totally owned it. In another, he was totally passive coz that how the story was. So on OTT, they have lots of flexibility to explore. Coz they don't give a shit about TRPs. They don't have to change tracks. One thing I love about OTT.
That was very evident that it would be Zoya dominated the next season. I don't want Zoya to be super innocent. Because that will make everyone else bad. I want something in Zoya's character. Just being used by everyone for their own motives is a super sad thing for the FL to be. 2021 it is. Moreover Karan has put keeda in me ki a character should have layers. What to do. Asad is having layers inside his clothes as well as his personality why can't Zoya too have 🤣
But now that you pointed out, Zoya's just been a puppet throughout. That's a little sad. If I didn't love Asad so much, I'd have totally hated him 😂😂😂. Also I have an analysis for Asad I'll write in a while. Idk if anyone will agree. But I do.
Sure I am ready to read. Exactly my point. If Zoya is super innocent as a lamb it makes Asad the worst. But but but Karan loves to be a Black Grey character he wouldn't mind Asad being one hahaha. Yet still, the story is about two eternal lovers. They have to be at par with each other. If Asad has layers Zoya too should, she must. If Zoya is super innocent Asad too should be. That's how it works. Or else it's manipulation.
Actually, Asad being in love with her or attracted to her or just betraying her for his country - I am totally 50-50 about this. I know you want him as the patriot who's ready to betray as well. 😂😂 But I'll tell you why I am 50-50:
1. I think right in the beginning, Asad was attracted to her - when she was changing and when she fell on him etc. She is a beautiful and an attractive woman. So I think that bit is a little genuine. Yeah he's got a lot of self control so yeha. But I guess he was. -- he is attracted towards her. There's no denial about it. Especially when he says OH SHIT. 🤣
2. The saving and putting up with her was totally for the mission. He must have known she's the author. But him reading the book and coming up with that romantic fluff to piss her off was a plan in wooing her. No comparison, but in Don 2, Don sort of grows on Roma so in the end, when she has to choose and kill him. She isn't able to. Coz she always loved him, and he could break through the hate barrier. And. Don loved her too. Don completely loved her but wasn't a romantic. He'd Betray her but he loved her. ---- VERY GOOD EXAMPLE. THE only way Asad could win Zoya's unconditional trust was to make her fall for him just the way she liked so reading what she wrote gave him the upper edge. He hears her saying about the proposal so he leaves the dead body (hahaha like hahahahha) only to put a proposal for her. But somewhere he is also smitten. He is attracted. That's why he is happy with the Ring will bring the Bride thing and says I have a lot to tell you, which I will this ring part is totally true please remember. So he is smitten. He wants her. He is happy with the idea of marrying her.
3. Point being, Asad had already started to grow on Zoya then. When he said, what if I am already looking at her? It was a bluff. Even Zoya knew it. But somewhere she started to feel something. --- that was the last straw which he pulled for her. Last nail in coffin there was no looking back for her. Especially after the lock thing. 😆
4. And, it didn't make sense to me, when they fell in the bathroom and he pulled her to him when she wanted to get up. I was like - this isn't Asad? Then I realised it's a part of the whole thing. But right after she left, he also shuts his eyes. Well, we don't know if that's his guilt or his annoyance at having to be romantic for a mission, or him trying to control his genuine fondness for her. Because Zoya is lovable. XD Could be anything. --- that's why the saying Please remember the ring part is truth rest I will tell you when time is correct. He is angry at himself for falling over her, but he knows he has. So much soap he puts on her haha, marking her as his 🤗 lion has claimed his hunt with soap foam 🤣
5. And, when the Dad does and he calls Damini, and she says take the code and leave. He remembers that Zoya said she'd wait for him. And he hesitates. For a second. To acknowledge. So I guess this gives a slight indication that he's genuinely interested in her. Not to the extent of leaving the mission, but like Raazi - you can love someone deeply and be able to betray them for a greater cause - for your country. It requires a hell of a lot objectivity. But if someone has it, it's Asad. --- ugh the thing that is bothering me Eternal Love 😑all promoting - they don't unite yet there's eternal love 😑
6. Also, he doesn't say a word to clear himself when they ask him about the death. Coz he can't say the truth and he doesn't wanna lie. Then, later, when she cries in his arms, even then he restrains himself. He hesitates to tell her any random lie when she asks what her Dad told. Asad tries his best to NOT lie until he has no choice - like the nikaah shit. -- but the fact that in his mind there's marriage already that means he is smitten and is okay with the fact of marrying her. 🤣
7. The last episode. When they are leaving, he's told her multiple times, he's got some things to tell her but he'd do it later. And he seemed genuine then. So maybe, just maybe, he doesn't mind marrying her, and he feels the mission and Zoya are like personal and professional life which need not be inter linked. 😂😂😂 Like, he feels she'll give the codes and they can still be together. Again, all this is a BIG maybe. ---- exactly yes. Because he has seen she only cares about lives - her telling him about the animals being killed, her not judging him or others for being from this country or that, rather he knows if he tells her the truth, she will understand that they were saving innocent lives from being killed and we can think of a future together.
But yeah, I am still not willing to believe Asad out and out betrayed Zoya. But let's see what's in store for us.
