But this show has so much potential, its is not like they have exhausted all the plots, after 2-3 years we can expect same typical itv stories and plots, but not now.

Yes even i watched that '#break the loop with anupamaa' video. That too it came out in the time where she was friendly with vanraj episodes were airing. I thought if they are softening up vanraj and anu's relation now how come they posted this break the loop video of anu ? .now i understand. We always want anu to stand up for herself and i am sure she will in the upcoming episodes against vanraj and kavya. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Exactly!

I actually thought this show had the potential to be good in the long run too...

But they are trying to ruin it so early for what I don't know ...

There used to be this show called Patiala Babes on Sony, (it was good in the beginning but got ruined later too lol), and there the cheated wife took her daughter and left the house within weeks of finding out...

Granted the husband in that show was somewhat worse than our Vee, but the wife in that was also a housewife who had never worked, and she had only one teen daughter who was still in college- not to mention her maayka people were super unsupportive... but still she got jobs, found P.G. accommodation, and provided for herself and her daughter to live with self respect...

If Babita (heroine of that show) and women in similar situations irl can do that, then why not Anu who already has two jobs, supportive mom in her maayka, and an adult, earning son on her side??

I actually thought this show would be much better than that one due to seeming more realistic and better thought out, but it is now starting to look like Anu is just a willing doormat with terrible judgement and a blurry concept of right and wrong...

If audience wanted the story to go down this regressive path then they wouldn't have made this show no.1 at the time that we were seeing the new Anupama post discovering the affair...

Yes they are trying to tell us that Anu wants divorce from Vanraj and self respect, but she still wears mangalsutra, rejects her mother's offer to go back to her house and stays in her sasural (despite the fact that Vanraj is always coming and going from there), and now she is even allowing KAVYA to stay there!?

What kind of self respect is this?? These makers seem to think just getting a job and learning to drive is the meaning of that term lmao

Ya I had seen some episodes on and off of Patiala Babes, since my mom used to watch. They had very nicely shown her struggles and success of becoming a working woman. Here Anu ke independent hone ke naam pe they just show her leaving for school or coming back from school, and wrapping up the dance class and we got one fire sequence which was also ok ok.
