Pulkit might have put Madhuri as the guardian because he was living in the thought that Devyani has moved on, so if anything were to happen to him who would have taken care of harini...

Guardians don’t necessarily have to be parents.. if the parent signs off someone else as a guardian then they have the right to take care of the child..

I studied abroad and my parents weren’t available all the time to care of me (since I was 17) so they signed off my gaurdianship to my dads sister who stays there so that if any issue arises she can take the decision on their behalf...

Neither Sai, virat pulkit or family have cared to provide a full story of what exactly happened. Agar badla lene aaya bhi hai toh kyun? Does virat not think that Aisa kya kiya tha pulkit ke saath that after all this time when he has a daughter, he has become successful professionally, why will he care for "badla". Toh provocation kya hai. Sai should ask virat that too. Agar maam bhi lein ki voh badla lena aaya, toh kyun badla chahiye?
Sai hasnt asked about what happened 10 years back and Pulkit isnt divulging anything to help Sai. Shes the only one who atleast has a gut feel that theres more to this story. And she is the only one supporting this shaadi staunchly. Yet pulkit hasnt bothered to divulge everything that happened so she can get Virat to support them. Has he realised that if Sai is promising to help him but shes also telling him that Virat is now against the shaadi, then she is going against her husband to help him. Isnt this his battle to fight. Its his wife, his life. Hes not looking stressed at all. And he knows iss ghar ke log kya kya karsakte hai but hes letting Sai handle it alone?!
when Sai mentioned to virat that if devi gets better she will tell us ehat happened, virat was like "chuck it and move on". But why didnt she suggest asking pulkit about what happened...even if she had, from virats actions thus far, he is not the least bit curious about tying all loose ends. Kaisa ips hai yeh. Investigation shuru hui nahi ki usne khatam kardi, aur verdict bhi suna diya hai. Does he not want to immediately confront pulkit?! Sirf dialogue maara- khoon ke asoon rulaoonga but next scene he is chilling in balcony asking Sunny about holi plans and inviting him! Atleast we should get a scene where he is seen asking his tesm to take out full kaccha-chitta of this man pukit. look into details of whether he has cheated other women, already there are 3 women in the picture- devi, imaginary sangeeta and madhuri. Is he a loose character like amey who in the disguise of a medical student/doctor has cheated others. What kind of father will such a "disgusting" man be - is he not concerned about the safety of this kid harini...
Matlab the questions from us are unending. Pata nahi yeh sab is show ke characters ke dimaag se ghum kyun hai! I know all questions cant be answered in a few episodes but we should see some attempts by the characters to atleast raise these questions that we as audience are asking since day 1...

Bhavani is not the one who thinks about long term consequences. For her only her ego matters. She didn't even hesitate to ruin her daughter's life for her fake prestige. So what a thing Virat is? All her love for Virat is only a show off in front of him and the family especially Ninad because she knew Virat is Ninad's only son and she needs her devar's support to boss over every one in the family.
But what matters here is the shameless act of Patralekha who always keeps talking about morals and blah blah! What happened to her so called maturity!? What she did is a sin and inexcusable (trying to seperate two married pairs) and she will have to suffer one day for all her evil thoughts and actions.

At the end of the day, all this discussion may just be the result of our confusion - arising out of horrendous, shoddy writing.
But he kinda did. Not on purpose. But virats arrival in GC changed all of the plans Sai and kamal sir agreed on. she had convinced her dad to get VRS snd move. But virats arrival threw a wrench in her plans. Virat unwittingly "forced" her aabaa to postpone retirement by asking him to reconsider on the stage! Who puts someone on the spot like that. Akele mein baat kyun nahi kiya. And after that aabaa managed to emotionally blackmail virat into letting him do things despite his VRS getting sanctioned , first he was only involving in "planning"with the mission against jagtap, but the last straw being that he allowed emotion to cloud his judgement and he approved kamal sir going on a mission which could potentially be dangerous for a man close to retirement age/recently diagnosed with some health issues only coz "guru dakshina" maang liya tha...yes it was emotional blackmail, mana kar paana mushkil tha but thats where strength of character comes through.
None of this was deliberate. But virat's decisions impacted her aabaas life.
Its the same with Sai. Deliberately galat nahi kar rahi hai. But agar ek 19 yo se logon ko itni umeed hai toh pulkit aur virat seh toh aur zyaada honi chahiye. They are older, more mature, more calm/composed, more life experiences.
