I suspect there is a problem with the timeline because in an early scene between Mansi and Pallavi, Mansi alludes to how Pallavi had a long distance courtship which ended BEFORE suhaag raat.

So to your point, I think there was no time for strong emotional attachment or physical closeness in that very brief relationship.

No he died on the wedding night only . Mansi once said about it in an earlier epi I think

Ok now I remember he said he’ll gonna pay her the money later.All other expenses and decorations and everything were pretty much handled by pallavi only.Neither amrutha helped nor kaki and kaka toh always run after his wife

Absolutely. It would be a far better love story if Mandhar is a good virtuous person with all desirable husbandly qualities---and yet Pallavi chooses the dark and difficult Raghav.

Yes that's the thing with our daily soaps.. they had to have a scene where they highlight the fact that Pallavi had an online courtship before marriage and most importantly they did "not" consummate their marriage. Because as progressive as we want to be as a society by showing how widow remarriage is going to find acceptance in the end.. they want her to be chaste/virgin for our hero.. even if hero sleeps around with a gazillion women.
