They can indeed show a leap especially if the Partition baby survives. Then they have the protagonists cross paths again and start afresh.

I dont know why khet scenes and happy flashback scenes cannot be shown instead of elder Sahanis torture drama. But 🤞 for future.

Maybe they will leave on 15th August after news is out that Lahore is going to the other side so they need to leave for Amritsar or Delhi ASAP

This is a possibility. It happens in a lot of shows where they give a brief summary of what has happened and then show all the main leads crossing paths again and getting together
