Why only Zee blamed? Why not other channel and viewers? Why you even want a big company to shut down and thousands people losing jobs? Put yourself in their shoes. Shaayad tum student ho isliye tum abhi nahi samjhogi. We all talked in details that day why no company should be shut down. Its not about some production house but entire Essel Group of Industries. Before you say they should turn it into grocery company like you said that day let me explain you again what I said that day. Just like a mass media company turning into make-up company will affect their ex-employees as people who are qualified for mass media jobs can't do jobs required by make-up company the people who are qualified to do jobs for entertainment industry like in front or behind the scenes won't want their talent to get wasted in grocery store. And before you say they should look for job in different place then that also is not easy. India has already high unemployment rate so people want secure jobs not wanting to be fired all of a sudden one day and them expected to look for another job. I hope you understand now why no big company should shut down. Sorry for big rant but this was needed.

Put pilot wont work for daily soap format but for episodic but something like that should be tried for ITV shows where networks like SP, Zee or Colors give some commitment to air show from particular PH for certain stipulated time no matter what. During that period if its gets traction the contract be renewed or cancelled. However during the stipulated period they cant cancel the show or they have to pay fine to PH

Par networks ek number ke baniye hote hai they will never give such commitment

Bro main problem in itv is broadcasters own full IPR of any content so producers bhi kuch nhi kar sakte

ye hotstar ki SM team ek number ke gadhe hai. They are clients of my previous firm. Few of my batchmates worked on that campaign. I was angry as because of them star classic YT page got closed
