I don't think you are wrong. In fact, I had been at loggerheads with some of the members on the forum because of our difference of opinion and you might have read some post.

Upto a certain extent I can understand their frustration. Even the comparison. I don't really like Sharad as an actor but I came across this clip last night and I agree, he was good. But I didn't feel the same about Surbhi when I found her really good in IB. So we can stick to our belief that a lot of things can affect an actor's performance.

But the amount of criticism the leads got, it was pure bullshit. I mean, I understand that aura is important. When we watched Nazar, Niyati had a certain aura and the makers made sure that she looked like a Daivik. With Shruti they went overboard with the becharipan and that became her undoing.

I don't know how distinguished Mouni or Surbhi Jyoti were in their respective seasons. But I didn't feel SC was really that fierce in her snake avatar as I watched the episode where they regained their memories. TBH, it's the third most horrible tandav I have ever seen.

I won't say Krishna looked fierce in this season but the fact that she was angry, she portrayed it really well. And she looked kind of hot. ☺️ But chodo, yeh point main jaane deti hoon kyunki woh meri favorite hain. 😛 Agar tumhe koi clip dikh jaye, tum behtar judge kar paogi. 😊

It reminded me of ipk3; where story was different, had potential but Sanaya fans had done this nonsense of trolling and spreading hate. It's a fact, and I have not seen such a toxic fd cos Barun literally could not do television, cos of trolling. Like it's good he is doing projects byt this is sick! Many people have even told this.. Agreed. In fact, up to a certain extent yeh bhi mujhe samajh aya. Kyunki jab Jinn start hui thi, tab humne bhi compare kiya tha ki VSC was better than Harsh as an actor but he s**ked big time in action sequences.

PKYEK to thi hi TVD ka copy. KTH ka base bhi TVD se hai and they are copying all the intense scenes from Nazar, I feel. To fans ise PKYEK se compare karega, woh natural hai. But inka har point aisa hota hai ki Harsh lacks the charm VD or SM has. Why isn't he like his dad? Why isn't he mysterious?

Even if it's a copy of PKYEK which I think it is, Rehan as a character I feel is different from Abhay in all sense. It's not like he is a 100 years old vampire, pining for his love. Poor guy is all frustrated because of the curse and wants answer to his questions. He hardly had any feelings for Priya until their confrontation scene. So why would he be like Abhay?

Then again one said Priya is very feeka as a character as she forgave her mother for abandoning her after her birth. Yaha pe yeh clarification de gayi hain ki Rags ne use dur iss liye kiya kyunki woh use bachana chahti thi. She literally used her one boon to blackmail an entity to revive Priya when she was dead. To woh apni maa ko maaf kyun nahi karegi? Why should she vent her anger like Piya in PKYEK?

Inn logo ko bas reasons chahiye thi iss show ko flop karne ka and I genuinely think Ekta pulled the plug too early, even when there are so many loopholes.

I hate myself for even comparing but Harsh and Krishna look more natural together than NiyArsh, even when they have copy pasted the scenes from here. I feel Harsh has improved his acting quite a bit and Priya as c character is more lively, so they look good together.

But logo ko to bas burai nikalna hain.

Even when they have removed the Adi-Naagin tag, they are still harping about why is Krishna given the same outfit as SC? Ab kya woh log sare scenes phir se shoot karein? Thoda to lease makers ko bhi deni chahiye.

So here I am with my Mahabharat on KTH.

A small precap, Rehan is the adopted son of Khurana family and he loves his sister Soumya a lot. Under certain circumstances he and Priya struck a deal that they would fake being partners for a certain amount of time. But Soumya's fiance Mohit fell for Priya. He is the butterfly guy if you guys can remember. 🤪 So on the night of their engagement, Mohit confessed everything and wanted to call off the wedding. Rehan confronted Priya and later apologized to her for doubting her and also requested her to accept his proposal in front of Mohit so that he agrees to marry Soumya. Oh, and Priya witnessed his demon form earlier. So Rehan confessed to her that he was cursed and he was changing. He didn't know what would happen to him after that night so the pretense would probably last for that night only, he would not bother Priya anymore. But the villain kidnapped Priya's mother and forced her to accept Mohit's proposal instead because she knew Rehan would lose control on that particular night and it was necessary for him to drink Priya's blood (since she is a half-angel) to complete his transition. So Priya kept telling Rehan that she was helpless and there was a reason behind her sudden flipping but he killed her anyway.

That's when they took the 180 degree flip when Rags (Priya's mother) blackmailed an aquaman sort of entity to revive Priya, otherwise she would use her boon, gifted by Priya's father (The Tharki Farishta 😛) to call death upon the universe. So they turned her into a Naagin overnight and here's what I liked and hated about it.

First of all, when will ITV makers understand the concept of Spin-off? A spin-off starts off from the original but it has a story on its own. After a certain point it becomes so distinct that you can literally distinguish between the shows as two separate stories.

If they had to insert the Naagin theme only, why not calling it Season 6? Why did they have to announce it as a spin-off and then forcefully turn into a revenge saga? The love story between a demon and an angel could be interesting enough if they had taken enough time and executed it properly. Here it became a joke.

Then the second thing that left me hella confused. The transition from an angel to a Naagin.

Let's just say, Ekta ne tumhari nak katwa di. We always complained that Gul made a fool out of Gods and Goddesses as she always showed Mo to be more powerful & you said, Ekta was better in this particular aspect.

Here, Priya was dead and they revived her. But they took the help of a giant snake who is the Sangrakshak of the venom of all past and present Naag/Naagins. Even if they showed Lord Shiva's statue repeatedly, how can anyone no matter how powerful he is revive a dead person? It's not like Priya was in comatose state that they could come up with an antidote. She freaking died and they only used Mahadev in the background? 😲 😲 😲

Then the second point, I have mixed reaction. I believe no matter how successful a season becomes, paying tribute to the earlier seasons is a great thing because without them a franchise couldn't have been forwarded ahead. So they showed Shivanya, Shivangi, Bela, Vrinda and Bani & I liked it. Won't lie, I got emotional seeing Mouni Roy after so long. 😭

But then again, on basis of what logic?

They said the venom of a Adi-Shat is one of the most toxic ones and they required multiple Naagins' venom to counteract its effect. Alright, that makes sense. The sangrakshak even warned Rags that Priya died as an angel and her heart was pure. But if they revived her as a Naagin, there might be serious consequences as it is against the laws of nature. But Rags was desperate to save her daughter and seek revenge from Rehan so she agreed to go ahead with the ritual where all the Naagins bit Priya and gave her their venom plus powers.

Now they could simply show the Sangrakshak Naag to do the honors as he has their venom stored. They could show the heroines of past seasons that way also. But he literally called out the Naagins and they came and bit her. How is that possible? Aren't half of them dead already?

And the basic motive for reviving Piya is to seek revenge. So how come Bani came and bit Priya when Rehan is her own son? Which mother takes part in a procedure which will ultimately lead to her son's death? And how can I forget, she died at the end of Season 5.

This is one serious blooper I can't overlook.

Then comes the Adi-Naag tag. An all-powerful tag would fit the narration more because the girl had combined power of 5 Naagins. But Adi is reserved for the first Naagin. So how could they come up with that idea in the first place? It's a good thing that fans protested and the channel edited the term and calling Priya Naagin only.

But now I feel even fans are going overboard that why is she given the same costume as Bani?

I am like, editing a dialogue is easy but it's not possible that they re-shoot the sequences and change the color of her dress. To itna lease to fans channel ko de sakte hain. What do you think?

And lastly, the selective amnesia. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Yeh mujhe poora Nazar ka copy laga.

The guy remembers he confronted the girl, he remembers the proposal and taking her away, he remembers her pleading to listen to her once but he doesn't remember killing her? 😲 😲 😲

Exactly yaar! Because let's be honest, all the FLs of all seasons, they had solo hit or semi-hit show in their kitty. Mouni was already a known face for DKDM, SJ for QH & Nina and Jasmin had JR and TEK respectively. But they made their season work. In fact, when the show was original i.e. the first season came, Mouni became so hugely popular for it.

So why not even give a chance? Even Harsh and Krishna are moderately known faces for Nazar & YHM.

And the way people go gaga over Season 5, let's be honest, Ekta hired the most popular actors in that season only and still it didn't have that good of a TRP. In fact, the way people boast of its opening, that too was attributed to Hina Khan not SC or SM. But inhe to bas uss season ki Jayjaykar karna hain.

Plus no one except Mouni could have pulled a consecutive season.

When I watched TVD, I loved how the makers chose the unconventional way to show vampires. Even the detailed history like how Vampirism started - it was amazing.

I even shared clips with Nikki ki uss hisab se jaise inn logo ne KTH shuru kia tha, concept copied hone ke baad bhi logical tha and then they could proceed with it in their own way.

But yaha pe logo ne ek trafa galiyan di ki kyun copy kia and phir dusri or galiyan dena shuru kia ki characters exactly PKYEK jaise kyun nahi hain. Matlab, chahie kya hota hain inn logo ko?
